Crema Ltd

Stopped off here for dinner on the way back up north at the end of our holiday. Great food and service. Was surprisingly quiet for Sat night. Kids meals very good value. Only disappointment was the cheesecake dessert, do not order! Not worth £3.50 never mind £7.50, it was tiny, no side cream or ice cream. Raised it with the staff and they said pricing is set by HQ, but didn't offer refund or discount despite asking.

Nice pizza place to eat at. Staff were great and very attentive and chatty. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. The food was delicious, however both pizzas we got (Sloppy Giuseppe and BBQ Burnt Ends) were finished with pepper… a lot of pepper, and we finished our meals with our mouths burning. That said, the food was truly delicious, and I would recommend Pizza Express to any pizza loving person.

3.5/5 for our experience, so rounding up to 4. The restaurant is in need of some TLC with broken floor tiles and peeling wood on the dividing walls. The service was excellent - friendly and efficient. The kids meals were great with a healthy stater, small pizza and pudding for £7.25 which we felt was great value. The adult pizzas however were a little disappointing. The gluten free base is tiny and the cost should reflect this. Toppings are a little sparse on adult pizzas - mozzarella doesn’t make it to the edges. I‘m a pizza chef myself so completely understand that too much topping makes for a soggy pizza, but I wouldn’t leave a large section without mozzarella. I would definitely recommend this place for kids.

The food was amazing but the best part was the kids menu my daughter is 1 and has just started to like pizza. She got her own little margarita and going by the state of her clothes she loved it. A special thankyou to our server Lewis who was outstanding and went out of his way to make the experience fun for my daughter. Will definitely be back.
