This place is a classic, lunch spot. Great home cookin', natural ingredients in a friendly, local atmosphere. Marti is the best.

Food changes daily, but there are standards like chicken salad (very good) which runs out frequently because of its popularity. Small, clean and priced right for the average person.
Environmentally conscience with paper straws. One can ask for take out wrapped in tin foil or wax paper, plus you can bring your own container if desired.
Be sure to check out this little gem in Staunton for lunch. You won't regret it.

We had a great lunch with terrific quiche, Manhattan Clam Chowder, and great coffee. The lemon poppy seed muffin was to die for! The proprietor was warm and welcoming.
