Vishal Vaishno Dhaba

So when we were in Srinagar, we gave this place a shot. We are pure vegetarians and this was supposedly THE best place to have great vegetarian food as informed by the local people as well as the reviews in here. Well, according to me, this is definitely not the best place or THE place to survive the days you are enjoying in Srinagar. You can give it a shot though. Some people might like it and would be ready to eat here all the days during their stay and some of them won't. Personally, I didn't like it. The food here is very decent👌🏻. Well, the food actually tastes good but is really really oily. I didn't feel like eating here again. There wasn't a little bit of craving after I left the place. It's just alright for one try, I guess. Besides, it gets really crowded here. Fortunately, we had dinner here at around 7:30 PM and the crowd was just beginning to come in. If you're here at the 'peak' time, you cannot expect to sit where you'd like to and enjoy a meal with your family or friends. You have to sit where ever there's vacancy, finish your meal and off you go! We'd ordered rajma rice (tasty, yum but really oily!), roti and subzi (don't exactly remember which one but again oily). Overall, it's a decent place. Worth a shot. P.S. - Waiting for the order, I was a bit jobless so I clicked all the pages of the menu. Hope this helps you. :P I'm tagging them with my review. Also, there are really good dhaba/hotels exactly opposite to the Dal Lake. I don't exactly remember their names but they were Punjabi Dhaba and Dilli Da Dhaba I guess. Tasty food, amazing pani puri and lip-smacking gulab jamoons there! One of the best vegetarian restaurant in Srinagar❤️👌🏻❤️

They serve the best veg food in srinagar. They have a variety of dishes with chaat options as well. They not only provide good food but they do it at affordable rates as well. This place is always packed with tourists, which makes their service staff slow and cranky as well. During peak hours you might have to wait for some time. Food wise you can try parantha or regular daal chawal as well. Their rajma chawal and aloo chaat is also very good.

Krishna Dhaba is a good place for vegetarians. because i went with my friends few days ago Daily morning breakfast inside Krishna Dhaba well behaved staff there important thing is online payments are available and Cards also Accept. The people who work there are also very well behaved. It is a good place to go and Eat with family. This is a very good place for everyone who wants to eat vegetarian. the rates are also reasonable

It is near dal lake, a veg hotel kind dhaba, they serve only veg food, mostly breakfast. Chhole bhature was really so much tasty, masala dosa was also superb. You will get normal breakfast option here as we get in mumbai pune and also with normal rates. The location and seating arrangement is good. Usually it is crowded in morning as many visitors and locals visit here. Nice place to have breakfast. Must visit if you are neqr dal lake srinagar.

Good North Indian food. Other cuisines are average in taste. Seating arrangement is below average. Tables are small which are not enough to place all plates and ordered items. Chairs are small and placed very close beside each other that doesn't allow any movement for the eater. Overall good place to have North Indian food with homemade touch that lacks in seating arrangement and other cuisines.
