La Festiva

Brought my boyfriend here for an intimate birthday celebration. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, we really felt quite content to relax and enjoy our 3 course meals. Extremely well priced and the food was lovely, my only complaint was that my grilled salmon was not crispy enough but regardless all the food was still exquisite. Highly recommend to all.

"Fantastic Italian with great service...." I have been to few Italian restaurants before but compared to them, La Festiva is quite exceptional. Went along to this one with some friends to celebrate a birthday which was a great fun. The food was delicious, modest portions and speedy service which always makes for a better evening. Staff was very efficient, friendly and courteous. All of us were very impressed and definitely be going again.

I came into the restaurant the other day for the first time since the old owner sold the business and to my surprise the interior was well done up. Things were looking really positive from here, that is, until ordered something from the menu. My wife and I ordered a large pizza to share. To my disgust, the "pizza" was probably more relatable to a soggy loaf of bread that had been squashed and left to dry in my 13 year old sons laundry basket. You could tell the ingerdients were not fresh and it seems as though the new owner put all his money and effort into the interior of the restaurant whilst forgetting the main reason people go to restaurants in the first place: the food! Long story short my wife and I were terribly disappointed in the place and shortly after our meal (if you could call it that) the owner, from what I could make out, was hounding us to buy deserts. After multiple refuses he finally headed on back to the kitchen. All in all I think the One Star sums it up perfectly, I hated the experience and needless to say so did my wife.
