The 2 stars is due to the poor service. Went through the drive through around 6:30 pm. Ordered new Thailand chicken soup and other stuff. The soup is good I recommend it. I like almost everything on the menu at Panera but the prices are indeed a bit too high. I ordered 2 large green teas and was not even given any drinks at all. Always always always seems to be new staff at this location. Not sure if it's a leadership problem or if it is the working environment. Like many of the other reviews state do definitely check the bag and for you drinks before you pull away from drive through. Can't tell you when the last time I have gotten everything I ordered correctly. I am no longer coming to this location. I have been going to this Panera for some years but the problems of not getting what I ordered and the service has not been this bad before. If a new manager was hired the end of 2021 then get rid of them because like myself people will stop coming.

Love this panera! I go here at least once a week and they always make my food perfectly, even though it's a very specific and complicated order. I went at a different time and was appalled at how rude the customers were being- multiple people stood right at the counter, staring down employees, tapping the counter passive-aggressively and even loudly complaining about the time it was taking to make their food. Even though they were being so disrespected, the employees were still super professional and kind, accommodating all sorts of requests from these rude customers. The employees here are amazing and don't deserve to be treated like that.

Wrong order twice in one week, this place is always just a huge disappointment when I have to turn around and come back for the rest of the food that I paid for. Decent food but horrible service

Always enjoy stopping here for a bite to eat. Food is freshly prepared when ordered. Selection is beyond enough to satisfy anyone's tastes. New to this location they are now offering delivery to either your home or office. Cannot go wrong with that kind of service. Always save a little room for some of their pastry items.

Was today there and went through the drive thru. Employee on the microphone was busing communication
and giggling around with her friend inside than actually taking in my order!!! And after a few minutes she took it. Furthermore, the bread was just thrown into the bag…ever hurt about hygienic packing!?

I really wish it was good. Let me start by saying I like this chain in general and if you are in Springfield and have time you are better off going to the location on the north end of town.
Drive through is closed. The app isn't much better because the employees don't update their stock on their end so everything I try to get is sold out. This is especially true for bagels. One thing that was nice is I have the coffee subscription and the coffee WAS decent. Now they don't prepare it for me anymore which is a small complaint to be sure but then when I do see myself the coffee is cold or super weak. The staff is hit or miss. A couple of the older employees there are friendly and do a decent job taking my order (that you have to go in and place essentially) but the inflated prices of Panera was normally offset by quality and speediness but that is just not true at this location. Other things that I would normally just over look if literally anything else was good but the parking lot is small and difficult to get in and out of. I suppose I am just confused as to why the drive through is closed I had assumed they were just short staffed but then when you go in there I always see at least 2 people just standing around seeming to have a great time. But they can't make my coffee and give it to me though the window?
If they ever improve I will edit this review. But I doubt it since customer service and quality is a general problem in Springfield.

The below reviews are spot on with respect to not getting all of your items when passing through the drive through. Ironically, I even asked the associate if all the items were in the bag and he said yes. I called when I got home, got hung up in the face.

Worst order placing experience. They never bring my order outside and every time they miss something out of my order like missing avocado in chipotle chicken avocado melt, which is not acceptable.
