Tried out Asian Hut on my search for steamed dumplings in Springfield, MO! They’re really nothing like traditional dumplings but they are steamed, the wrapping is deliciously thin, and the filling and sauce are A+! The crab rangoon was fine, no different than any other place in Springfield. And the Sweet & Sour chicken came out with the sauce separately. The chicken was fine and sauce was like what you’d expect. My biggest complaint is they don’t have any real dishes here, you know? Plates… real cups? Silverware? It’s all styrofoam and plastic. SO wasteful (unless you’re a to-go customer … this really should change) and the food is hot so it was challenging to eat with a plastic spoon. Really a bummer cause the food was pretty good. Otherwise I really enjoyed the steam dumplings here and would highly recommend.

I am a GrubHub driver and I got a customer order here. I'd never been before and after my block ended I just had to try it! The food portions are great and the flavors are, too! Great prices! And very kind people here. Thank you for making a starving person extremely warm and grateful tonight. I've got plenty of leftovers for later. :)

I've picked up several door dash orders from here, and thought to myself, they must be worth trying. And they are! Very generous portions, the best egg roll I've ever had, and I don't think I have ever seen a crab Rangoon that big before. Everything was delicious! I'm not sure any Asian place can come close in value. This will be my new go to for Chinese.

I know this is a bad rating, and I'm sorry. I've eaten here twice now. But the wait was way too long both times, and the food isn't worth the wait. Pepper chicken (which is just black pepper) is not good. Iced tea from Chinese restaurants is usually the best, but theirs is like water, and it's dispensed from a machine, not brewed in the kitchen. Springfield has too many good Chinese options to go back here unfortunately.

So many options and great prices! My new favorite place. Only complaint was peanut butter chicken should be soaked in peanut nutter imo. Not caked on top. But everything else is great. The rice, the food quality, the rice, etc.

Good but not amazing. There was a worker that didn't show up, so we apparently had slower than normal service. Small eating area, but we were thankful they were open on the 4th of July. :-)

Not going well here. I just watched them send out the wrong order, the customer obviously looked through it and came back, 5 min later they sent the returned order out AS IS. NOT OK. Service is quick and dirty, emphasis on the dirty. DO NOT RECOMMEND. To many awesome places in town to visit here again. Also Children of the employees working and also taking up a few tables, feel bad for them. Snacks and toys strewn about.
