Italian Cafe

This place is really good pretty much everything on the menu is fantastic. Unfortunately they stopped being able to put a meatball pizza together so I stopped going unfortunate because it was some of the best pizza around. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just charge appropriately and slice the meatballs put them on the pizza? To me that’s like saying they can’t put pepperoni on a pizza! Other than the pizza, I would give their poblano sauce a try if you like that smoky veggie flavor it’s pretty unbeatable.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. The complimentary garlic bread melts in your mouth. I have had several of their pizza and they taste homemade. The cafe is not a very big place, but very cozy and welcoming. I would totally recommend to anyone looking for great tasting food and fair pricing.

Being from up north, NY state born and raised, then western MA, I have been very lucky to be exposed to the most amazing Italian restaurants that one is lucky to have, being so near to New York City, with the surrounding areas also within a few hours of home. Within this special realm there happens to be quite a lot of wonderful Italian style restaurants!! Having just moved down to Texas, I know there is a lot of variety down here but I have noticed less of the wonderful and unique Italian restaurants I have grown to love (not big franchises!), at least so far. Forgive me, I’m new! My point is, I have been seeking out something quaint and super yummy. I found that at the Italian café with my husband for a date night. The atmosphere was wonderful. The service was superb. The food was even better. We can’t wait to go back for more, and it took all that we had not to order a couple dinners for each of us along with a pizza but of course my mind was bigger than my stomach! I still came home with wonderful leftovers. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you Italian café for a lovely experience, which was, in a way, a taste of home up north that I miss.

Violet was our server and she was great! The food was AMAZING! We went for our first time on our 12 year anniversary and it did not disappoint. The bruschetta is phenomenal. I got chicken parm which was crispy and cheesy and great and my hubs raved about his shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. We got a bottle of the house cab which was tart so maybe cruise the wine list before ordering. Totally satisfied and want to make a point to go back!

Great atmosphere for a dinner, fresh food, attentive staff, the food just lacked a little flavor. The pasta was cooked al dente and tasted really good. I ordered the rigatoni vodka sauce ($14) and added a breaded chicken breast ($5). I had to add some salt and pepper for taste but the food was fresh and well prepared. Someone else ordered the fettucini alfredo ($10) and added shrimp ($6). Another person ordered the Parmigiana with chicken ($16.50). Overall, the food was well prepared but needed a little more seasoning. The service was great. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.

The calamari was lightly fried and delicious. Arugula salad was amazing! The seafood pasta was great, although the sauce could use improvement. The tiramisu was too die for! And their bread was sooo delicious, warm, crisp and butter good! Ambiance was romantic and cheerful, service was spectacular. 10/10 would go back! Thank you for the amazing dinner

Ordered food for take out on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised and fulfilled. I had chicken alfredo, chicken parm, and a small veggie pizza and man was that pizza a decent small, it was more of a medium it seemed. Overall, the food had very nice portions especially for the chicken parm; I liked how there was more chicken than pasta, to me that's the way to have it. I would definitely recommend having the food from here and will for sure be ordering more food in the future.

Great little hole in the wall spot, my husband had the lasagna (no pic because he at it all so fast) I had the shrimp scampi, the bread was fresh and delicious. I was really impressed with their aviation cocktail, it's one of my favorite cocktails to make and it is the first cocktail to get me into gin. Service was phenomenal.
