One Man Band

Such a cool place! The service model is flipped on its head here. Once you seat yourself you grab a menu and pick your dish. Then pick-up the phone and call it in. They buzz you once its ready and you go to the counter and pay and pick it up. But the whole time you can watch the kitchen. It is a floor show in itself, as the one guy takes care of everyone. But on top of that it was a really great breakfast place. Eggs were right, food was fresh, and everything taste great. So glad we tried it!!

Food was great. Do you see all that avocado in my pics? It was loaded! The best hashbrowns that I have had. My husband liked his pancakes. The service was different. Self serve drinks and silverware. And to place an order, we had to pick up the red phone on the table. Food came pretty quick. Loved the pics of the famous singers, and other memorabilia. If I had to say anything on the negative side would be about the bathrooms..they didn't smell good, even though they had multiple air fresheners in there. The mens restroom was better according to my husband.

I love one man band! It's a really cool experience if you've never been there is a red telephone in the booth where you sit and you will pick up the phone when you're ready to order and give them the order and the drinks are self-serve. The absolute best thing ever is the portion for the bowl of fruit for children. My kids are basically fruit bats so I was pleasantly surprised when they got such a hefty helping of fruit. For the adults I highly recommend the burger and fries! I got the Old Fashioned Cheeseburger and it was everything I was hoping for, I especially liked the seasoning salt on the fries.
