Jfx Noodle & Tapas Bar

I'm disappointed that I never tried this gem of a place until recently. They have an extensive menu, which at times can be concerning. But it was a packed out place and the food others were getting looked good, so I wasn't concerned. I ordered their signature Ramen, which has now taken top spot for my fave ramen on the GC as it was damn delicious. The pork was nice thick slices, Jammy nitamago eggs, broth was a nice thick consistency and very flavourful and noodles cooked to perfection. Price point really good and Service also friendly considering how busy it was. Will definitely be back 👌

Updating from our previous review! Another spectacular meal here, this time for a special occasion 😀 as always, the staff were lovely and professional. Having had the ramen basically every other time we visit, we decided to go with the Yakinuki 30 piece platter.. quite honestly, this was the best beef we've had since living in Japan. Was served beautifully and tasted divine - the 'Chateaubriand' in particular! Only suggestion would be to have some more veggies for grilling also. It's BYO wine as well, so took a few reds down with us to enjoy. Whole thing came in at under $100 - can't get better quality for that value anywhere! We'll be back! 😀

Service very slow and inefficient (edit: went recently and the service was great) but the food is fantastic. The meat set they offer in their menu is without a shadow of a doubt THE BEST MONEY CAN BUY in a restaurant. I have tried the most expensive Japanese restaurants in Australia and their meat set comprising of a multitude of different cuts is out of this world. It is a hidden gem and I keep on coming back with my friends to grill these amazing cuts. Well done Chef!
