The Last Post

We eat here for dinner and breakfast and standard Wetherspoons food, always good for what you pay for. We also stayed here for 1 night and would highly recommend it. We stayed in one of the rooms in the attic and it was lovely. Amazing big rainfall shower but use the shower mat (which is provided) as it is slippery. Has Aircon which was brilliant as it was during the heatwave. Bed was comfy and spacious too.

That's a review of hotel (as well as a pub). I'm very picky customer, due to my autism's. But I like that place sooooooo much that I come back second time, this time for summer holiday on sea for 5 nights. Nothing changed, amazing place, clean, comfortable. Welcoming, kind and polite people's. I just can't imagine to stay in any other place if I visit Southend-on-Sea! Amazing place with amazing price. Have adorable bear garden, that is so cool spot for having you breakfast.

Stayed at hotel for two nights. Was close to shopping centre, and walking distance to beach. Was clean and good value for money. They had ran out of milks for coffees etc so had to go to the bar to ask for milk, which they were happy to provide. Took a little time to check in, but there was a group of us. Had breakfast in pub two mornings. Food was fine, the same as any spoons. The staff were mainly happy and friendly. Was busy when we arrived on Saturday and took a while to get served. Would stay again as good price and no complaints. Was lots of other places to go and things to do in Southend so was a good base for that.
