Amazing food, great and friendly service,food of very high standard and relaxed atmosphere.
Had a fantastic date night with 3 course which we did not have a bad word to say. The Pork belly with cider and mustard sauce was sensational and melt in the mouth would highly recommend.

I've been on the hunt for great fish and chips for years, and today, I finally found it at The Bistro Shamrock Quay. The batter was perfectly crunchy, and not greasy. The chips were just right – crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. It's evident that every aspect of the dish, from the sourcing of the fish to the cooking technique, has been meticulously considered. From now on, whenever the craving for fish and chips strikes, there's only one place I'll be heading – The Bistro at Shamrock Quay. Trust me, once you've tasted their fish and chips, there's no going back.

Popped in for a quick lunch and a pint. Service was amazing, waitress was attentive and polite.
Food was second to none, I only had the curry wrap but it was sooo good, cooked perfectly.

First time here and can't wait to come back. Excellent food, the pie is homemade on the premises and was one of the best my husband had ever eaten!

Top Tasty Supper.
Shamrock Quay is a busy working Marina, slightly off the beaten track, though close to the Football Stadium.
The Bistro is perfect for a relaxing lunch, a drink after work or sailing and a real find for supper.
Good value for money, enjoy.

Lovely lunch today with the wife. I decided to go for the Pig Board as a main (probably a mistake, as I'm still feeling very full!! 😂), she went for the Chicken burger and fickles (fried pickles). Lovely little place, nice atmosphere and food was lush. We travelled from North Dorset on a recommendation and it was definitely worth the trip! Would defo go back again x

Ordered from here twice now and the food is just incredible. The first time, I got one of their Sunday roasts - all the veg came in the most delicious cheese sauce, and the potatoes were amazing. The second time, I got the pork belly - the gravy was so good, the pork was soft in the middle with crispy skin, the treacle veg was so so nice and not too sweet either. Just perfect to be honest, really recommend it!

Booked in advance to ensure a table and were able to be seated early by 15 min. We were then rushed and chased for our order about 5 times in ten minutes.
I was surprised how friendly, attentive and professional the younger staff were over the older/more senior staff who came across as rude and inconvenienced by customers.
I'd been looking forward to eating here for weeks and thankfully the food didn't let it down.
