Food was generally tasty and my favourite dish still has to be 101 - the porridge. The deep fried brinjal in salted egg sauce was also very crispy, light and flavourful. The restaurant was very clean and waitresses were very polite. I will of course dine there again! Tip: order a bowl of youtiao and pour it into your porridge. It’s gonna add some crunch to the thick yummy porridge!

The food is the same as other AOne outlets and we came today becos they have both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian food served on parallel. But low and behold we were given the table nearest the entrance and it was soooooo HOT and uncomfortable. With the staff mentioning that it is even worse inside as it's nearer the kitchen. I will not recommend anyone to patronize this outlet unless you bring your own portable fan or u enjoy eating in very hot conditions. Again, this isn't a bad rating on the food or staff. Just the shop location is really bad.

Today bought 2 porridge for takeaway and one cai po tofu. The deep fried tofu skin and the fried cai po tasted awful. You could taste over-used oil in them! The oil used for the frying must have been recycled for weeks or months. This is totally unacceptable! Consuming such oil can cause serious health problems! The Singapore Food Agency and NEA must conduct checks in their kitchen.

Upon payment at counter, saw a Food Panda logo scan code. I asked the staff what’s that for. She just replied she don’t know and proceed to check out my bill. When I scanned and realised that I was actually entitled to a 15% disc as pro user, I asked for my discount, the manager did not honour my disc right and said I already check out. Very inflexible and staff lack knowledge on promotion!!

Average food. Nothing to shout about. I can find better food at cheaper price. The porridge is suppose to be famous for favour but I think it’s not any better than hawker centre food. The vegetable dish is not too bad, the ingredients taste fresh. The fruit tea is bland, it tasted better in other outlets. The service is quite good I must say. The floor manager is quite attentive even when we order very little food.
