Simcoe Arms

Showed up for lunch on a rainy Tuesday around 1:00pm. Despite being busy we were sat right away. I had the Pad Thai which was literally the best I’ve had in awhile. My friend ordered the butter chicken and said it was delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful in choosing from the menu. Good job 👏 we ll be back!!! Oh and the bartender poured a perfect Guinness…so good!

What I found unique was the way the menu was displayed which was on a stand that spun which makes for easy viewing and easy to wipe down the plexiglass. The dining room was still closed. The patio was opened and very nice ambiance. The restaurant attracted a varied clientele. I had buffalo chicken cheese dip with tortilla chips. It was very tasty and filling. The service was very friendly and quick. The server was very attentive and always there when needed. I would recommend eating here.

HUGE shoutout to the entire staff. Always a great spot to eat. But last night when one of my family members suffered a medical emergency. The entire staff came to, and assisted my family in what had to be the best response possible to such an emergency. I am 100 percent positive that their aid lead to the best possible outcome. THANKS TO AN AMAZING GROUP OF PEOPLE.

I’ve enjoyed eating lunches & dinners at The Simcoe Arms, but I’m going to skip it for a while. It wasn’t the service or the food quality, it was the hidden up charges. Tonight I ordered a baked potato with my meal and when it arrived without sour cream, I asked my server for some. I was surprised to see a charge on my bill for $1.50 for the sour cream! It wasn’t extra sour cream, it was the only sour cream I received. What other restaurant charges for sour cream for baked potatoes? The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Next time we go out, it’ll be someplace else.

Great bar, good food 👌🏻 Definitely a quaint local pub. It's lively on weekends and the perfect place to go for a nice drink. Lots of beer selections, including my favourite; Alexander Keiths Red, on tap. Good choices for whiskey, beer, wine, etc. A wide variety for whatever you're feeling. The good is great, i have tried several dishes and the flavours are awesome! Pad Thai is delicious, jalapeño poppers are perfect, and flat bread is great for sharing with a date.
