You gotta come on Mondays for the family style fried chicken dinner. Each person pays a fixed prices for the dinner and you get fried chicken with a couple of sides, a biscuit, and a warm cookie at the end. The chicken is seriously good.

Great dining experience. Got to the place 5 minutes early before opening, and still got service. Very nice and clean interior. Sat at the bar, the bartender Paul was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable of the food and drinks. Apps, main course, and dessert were very good, especially for the price. I'm not from DC, but if you are from this area or staying at a hotel nearby, I highly recommend this place.

My favorite neighborhood bar. Great cocktails, great service, great food. The chef is inventive in the kitchen, bringing solid finesse to classics. A bar staff that works hard to remember your name and favorite drink. Monday nights are half priced menu nights.

Went here with the wife earlier this month and we had a great experience!!! It was a Monday night and the fried chicken meal exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed some of the comedy show next door at the Sidebar and had drinks that were unique and packed a punch. Overall we were there for five hours which is the longest I've ever spent in a restaurant while enjoying myself. My only gripe is that the restaurant doesn't expand this experience throughout the rest of the week. Besides Monday dinner/evening happy hour and Sunday afternoon brunch, the remainder of the week only offers small flavorless overpriced serving plates at the restaurant which leave you with an empty stomach. I hope the owner reads this review since I'm not speaking for myself when I say the energy/atmosphere on Monday nights should be expanded throughout the week to draw in more people. The Monday night dinner/drink menu is a highlight of Silver Spring!!!!

This was a beautiful restaurant experience. I went in on Wednesday, which they admit is one of their slower days. The restaurant has recently switched to a multi-course meal approach, but the dishes are inventive, and most importantly delicious. The scallops were probably the best I have ever had. The duck pastrami was also wonderful. The mushroom and caramelized endive dishes were delicious and inventive vegetable dishes. The desert, was both rich and sweet, but also perfect end to a wonderful meal. Every dish was beautifully presented, they were works of art in their own right. The service was exceptional and friendly. Taking this place is within walking distance from my house I will be going back eventually. I cannot praise how on top of things they were. Not that there was anything wrong. For a restaurant that has been around for 8+ years they have everything down to near perfection. This is a hidden treat near the border of Silver Spring and DC, and well worth checking out. The only nit, and it's a minor one, is some of their booths need the seats repaired. Otherwise the interior was beautiful, colorful, and funky.

Went last night for the first time for drinks and appetizers, and had a great time. Originally was heading to Sidebar but it was closed for a private function so went to the restaurant. Ordered their specialty Manhattan and their "Turn of the Century" gin martini. Very good drinks. Also ordered their truffle cheese fries, the boneless spare ribs, and a few Maryland oysters. All excellent, and good service at the bar. Will be going back for sure.
