Pollo-mex

We are excited that Pollo-mex is back up and running. We have been going there for several years. They have adopted to COVID and added a nice spacious patio in the back. The food is always good, but this time the service was phenomenal. Our waitress was so attentive and nice, that it made me want to go back next week.

This is our favorite go-to neighborhood spot. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but is truly one of those hidden gems you always hear about. Everything is delicious. It has a good mix of basic staples like tacos and fajitas to please anyone but also a huge variety of other more diverse and authentic items. To top it off we felt like regulars after our second or third visit.

Great drink and food specials here. My friends and I always get the $18 Coronarita drink it's a must here. Food is your average TeX Mex. We usually get empanadas, chicken/ steak quesadillas, and fajitas. They have nice happy hour specials. Service here is always good and food comes out rather quickly. Seating is perfect for all group sizes. Parking lot is wide open. Perfect place if your in the area to grab some quick drinks and food

This has been my favorite restaurant in the area. They are super kid friendly, meaning when I brought my baby and he threw things on the floor they helped by picking them up. They offered me a sample size of Guacamole to help keep him happy and always provide the best service. I love their food. While eating in I give them a 5, if they still do delivery and carryout wait times are not great so I gave them a 4.

We moved to the area Sept 2015 and this is hands down one of our top two favorite places to eat!! Our feedback: • Everything we've ever ordered has been amazing (tamales are moist!! Who knew?! :P) • There are flavorful vegetarian options for some of our friends (the spinach enchiladas are ridiculous!!) • The margaritas are poured with a firm hand (not all sour mix for once) • The staff are friendly and attentive • Atmosphere is simultaneously casual and vibrant but could easily be a romantic night out Overall just a total hit! Can't say enough good about it.

The food is excellent. "Central American" would be a better description than "Mex." Do not expect cheap, fast tacos and burritos; this is a fine, if somewhat informal, restaurant. The seafood soup is a treat, but will take extra time. The salads are good. Prices are moderate. My only complaint is that delivery orders have more mix-ups than you would expect, do take quite a while, and often arrive cold--but this is not fast food. I do not recommend the patio, as service seems to be much better inside.

A family favorite in my house since they opened. We dine in or carry out a few times a month and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is always friendly and the owner Julian seems to always work really hard to make sure everyone is having an enjoyable experience. The menu has evolved since they opened with great specials and brunch is phenomenal! They make unbeatable sangria and the fresh table sized guacamole is a must have! Their grilled steak is also a house favorite always tender and deliciously seasoned. I'm pretty confidant that we won't ever grow tired of eating there!
