Koko Restaurant

We visited for my birthday and had a lovely evening. The service and food was amazing, the sushi is so, so good! There is a great selection of food and drink and the set menu is excellent. We were very well looked after and had a great night. They have a whole separate vegetarian and vegan menu which is awesome. Thank you!

Had a fantastic night at Koko, and will definitely return. Service was excellent and very friendly. Food was superb, and portions well sized. I had appetisers of miso soup and eddamame beans to start. Highly recommend the garlic butter with the beans. I had mixed tempura to start, which was excellent. Decent size helping of really high quality king prawns and soft shell crab. Dipping sauce was really tasty too. The real star of the show was the sushi platter I had for my main. Really good mix of traditional and modern sushi. Had the salmon, tuna, and prawn that you would expect, and a few more unusual picks like sea bass and mackerel. Quality if ingredients were excellent, and the in-house sushi chef is obviously very talented. Probably some of the best sushi I've had, and I've been to Japan multiple times. Dessert of chocolate and cherry torte was also brilliant. Very rich, but not too sweet. As part of the set meal, I also had a few little extras, such as an amazing gunkan maki and piece of dried fruit vegan chocolate which rounded off the meal nicely. Highly recommended, and will certainly be back.

First time I went to koko around a year ago we loved it and couldn’t wait to go back! This time the staff were amazing yet again cannot fault the restaurant manager she is amazing the food wasn’t as great this time it wasn’t as premium and there was too much food that didn’t seem to be as high quality as last time which was a shame The price also went up to between £80-£90 per person

Went to Koko for our Wedding Anniversary and it definitely fitted the occasion. Front of house was so polite, friendly and helpful, the Chef and Sous Chef were incredible in their work and the food was out of this world. The best Tempura and Sushi we've ever tasted and all presented so beautifully. I would recommend this small and perfect restaurant to anyone and we will definitely be going back. Thank you Koko for a perfect evening.

My first time at Kokos and it didn’t disappoint! Rather than the set menu options (which did look very tempting and good value), we ordered the full selection of the sushi rolls.. 40 rolls later between two people, it’s fair to say I was very full! All delicious and fresh, made to order and so tasty. The waitress was actually the new restaurant manager and she was excellent, very attentive and friendly and advised on the menu choices. Would definitely return to Koko’s and try some more of the wonderful dishes.
