Superb Fish & Chips served with a smile! What a lovely place. We were attracted by the family meal deal (2 adult and 2 children F&C for £22) which was great value for money.
The place was clean and friendly. And even when we paid for extra sauce they gave us more than just one sachet which surprised me with their generosity.
The fish was piping hot, with a crispy batter which I understood is gluten free. And gorgeous fat chips with salt n vinegar. What else do you need? Well the wife still wanted gravy and mushy peas to remind her of up North.

I mean, it's a chippie... but a good one! The atmosphere is as genuine as the food offer and the crew are smiling and welcoming. If you're after a good chunk of fried fish and crispy and tender chips, that's the plaice 😁 !

We've been coming to the happy haddock for a lot of years. There are a few negative reviews which worried me, but I wasn't disappointed, I'd ordered online and our food was ready just after I arrived. Really tasty fish and chips, The best you can get. They don't allow you to have plated food inside like the old days which I guess is down to staffing, but at least you can grab a chair now whilst you're orders being cooked!

Wow one busy Fish & Chip shop! Clean shop and toilet. Haddock was really fresh and beautifully cooked. Lovely chips too!

Very popular place, and understandably why. Their P.D.Q. machine was not working, but they dealt with it admirably. The food was great and the service was professional throughout.

Good size portions and freshly cooked. Nice friendly staff. You can either eat in or takeaway. Large carpark opposite for parking near the Chine in old Shanklin.

Preferred it as it was back in the 90s but a bit pricey especially when everything has gone up and money is tight. A family discount would've helped.
