Young Tea holds a special place in my heart, not just for its exceptional boba tea and extensive range of tea goods, but also for the warmth and friendliness of its owners. Since its inception in Chinatown to its current location, the welcoming atmosphere created by the owners has been a constant highlight. Their passion for tea and genuine care for customers add a personal touch that enhances the overall experience. While I have fond memories of some of the original staff members who contributed to the shop's early charm, the spirit of hospitality and quality remains unchanged. This continuity is a testament to the owners' dedication to maintaining the essence of Young Tea. Their commitment to providing the best tea in Seattle, coupled with a sincere, friendly approach, makes every visit memorable. As a loyal customer since the beginning, it's been a joy to see Young Tea evolve while keeping its core values intact. The combination of exceptional tea, a welcoming atmosphere, and the personal touch of the friendly owners makes Young Tea more than just a tea shop; it's a community cornerstone in Seattle's vibrant tea scene.

This place is a real gem. First of all, there is the best bubble tea in the area, made of real tea. You will understand it yourself once you try and never be able to drink boba anywhere else. Second, the owner offers private tea tasting for small groups. This was one of the best experiences of this kind and I’ve done a few previously. She knows so much about tea and can explain it well to an audience of any level. And she works directly with tea growers to bring high quality tea to the shop. Highly recommend and definitely going to be back.

My favorite boba spot where I can really appreciate the nuanced flavors of the brewed tea! There are so many unique variations of black, oolong, jasmine, and other types of tea that I’ve enjoyed trying.

This is the best place for boba in the city in my opinion. They use quality tea, and actually brew it on site. I prefer 0% sweet so the tea flavor comes through. They've really improved the seating area and I hope they continue to develop it further to make the experience even better.

Great boba spot for afternoon hangs. The tea always comes out quickly and the service is always friendly. Recommend for first time boba experience or for the seasoned boba drinkers!

The signature milk tea is a Ceylon based .I chose the Assam. The milk tea had good flavors, probably the most "tea taste" of all the places. You can customize ice and sweetness levels. Besides milk tea, they also serve some jelly/pudding. Great neighborhood bubble tea shop. They close by 7pm which is a bit early but the ave(u district) is only a 20 min walk. There is no parking lot but plenty of street parking! It is also near a bus line. you can order at the counter or use the big tablet or even online . There were no lines and around 5 customers the half hour I was there. There is some indoor seating and one gender neutral restroom (don't need a key). I don't think there was wifi.

The staffs here are very knowledgeable. The milk teas here definitely has a stronger tea taste. We tried signature and Royal and felt that Royal was nicer.

That was the 1st time to order a boba tea at this store today. When we got inside, we smelled good quality tea smell and clean air at the same time. The stuffs were not so friendly, but their boba tea was really good!!! I ordered “Golden Lily Oolong oat milk latte.” The tea flavor was very decent and the texture of the bobas was amazingly perfect. We’ve been many boba store in Seattle, but today our favorite was changed to this store!! Yay!! Next time we want to try Hojicha Latte. (It’s really popular in Japan:)!)

For environment I thought say it’s pretty nice. You can smell strong tea smells in store, which is kinda nice. I kinda like their Brewed Tea rather than Milk Tea, nice that they have a lot of options. It’s sad that they don’t have a store in Bellevue yet.

The Milk Tea quality is excellent. However, the price is a bit high. Young Tea uses fresh milk tea instead of powder milk like Boiling Point. One more thing, the location is next to Little Sheep hotpot entrance. You might need to look up because the front door is upper level.
