SAKURA IS OPEN!!!! Someone had flagged us as closed, which is incorrect and has effected our business. We have updated our menu which includes more sushi combos. Please come join us and spread the word that Savannah's longest running Japanese restaurant is still running and better than ever.

Excellent sushi, friendly service, and soul warming udon. Their teriyaki is less sweet than most, giving better flavor. As someone who was less than satisfied in the past, they have made significant improvements.

Great sushi at a good price. Young and eclectic serving staff is a little less than attentive, but it goes with the laid back style. Family owned. Overall an A!

HOLY TURD. Good sushi that won't break your bank and if you want something more filling/spicy order the Indonesian Rice. You won't regret it.

Amazing! If I could I would rate this six stars; maybe even seven! It has a charm like no other. First off, the wait staff is friendly and make you feel like a regular. They are very fast and almost always bring out complimentary appetizers. Once you order from their vast menu they bring the food out very quickly with beautiful presentation. To top it off, the food is inexpensive enough that I can bring my whole family there. I just love going to Sakura!

This is truly a New York style sushi restaurant in the middle of Savannah. Service was great, food was great, honestly it was like a trip back to Brooklyn. Highly reccomend the Miso soup.

Ordered sushi. Food was great and low priced. Most rolls were in the $4 to $8 range and servers were attentive and friendly.

Sakura has probably the best cheap sushi in Savannah. You can eat for less than 10 dollars and be totally full. The atmosphere isn't 4-star elegant, and some people seem to have trouble dealing with the fact that it doesn't have the service that an expensive place would have. However, that being said, I've always found that the service is generally pretty decent and the prices are awesome. I reccomend the Soft Shell Crab Roll and the Haru Maki. Also, the Spring Onion Bread is excellent. :) Definitely, worth a trip if you're okay with a boho little sushi place. If you want 4-star cuisine and delicate atmosphere, then Seasons across the street might be more your style.
