My mom and I have been eating here for years! Some days are better than others and I guess that’s to be expected. Today, the food is delicious. However, the smothered pork chops gravy could have been browned more, but tasty. You do get three sides with your meal and you have good choices of vegetables, you get your monies worth. Healthy portions that can be two meals. Also, the place is always clean and I love that! The staff is very helpful! Shout out to Johnathan for being so polite and patient with me!

First time here. It's cafeteria style, which I love. I don't eat meat, so I got the veggie plate. I got the collards, cabbage, red rice and yams. Tried the peach cobbler just because. Everything was excellent. I wish they had some beans (blackeyes, pinto, limas, red). But, I'm not complaining. The pretty young girl who got my food was very polite in explaining things. She was very kind and and friendly. I very much appreciate positive people to go with positive vibes. I ate in. Tsbles are even set up loke cafeteria style. Works for me. Clean. Great chill casual place. They had 90s videos on the TV. Works for me. Hold on some Earth Wind and Fire just came on the TV. Now we talkin. My recommendation, get on off that I-95 and get yourself on in here for some good dinner (or lunch). Something for everyone here.

Amazing food, wonderful staff, and incredible service. I felt bad for ordering from Seamless in the evening when I know they must be busy, and they went above and beyond. So did the delivery driver. Be sure to tip them well. I had the fried chicken with yams, mac and cheese, and red rice. I was also given a slice of cake. All of it was some of the best soul food I've ever had. Thank you so much, and I'll be back and in person next time I'm in town.

We came here because of Drivein Diners and Dives. We saw a video, and my cousins were on there with good reviews. So I knew it was going to be good. My husband sampled almost everything! He was pleased. I had a focus on the Soul Rolls because they looked so good on video. Plus, I LOVE oxtails. While patiently waiting for my rolls, I tasted my husband's food. Delicious with every bite. My rolls came out, and not a one had oxtails or greens. I was really disappointed. What topped it off, I said something, and no one corrected it. Luckily, I don't eat that much so I could fill up off of my husband's plate. Maybe they just had an off day.

We live in Florida and was up north on our way back home .. we craved soul food and let me say this place did not disappoint. The Mac n cheese whiting fish was so delicious 3 bites in my husband had the ribs , oxtails eggrolls collard greens and green beans and i sent my husband back in to order another plate to take home. Although we are almost 6 hrs away.. I would def be taking another drive.

This was our second time ordering Sister's of the New South and much like the first time the food was AWESOME!!!!!!! Smothered shrimp was amazing with a spicy kick and collared greens and mac N cheese was the best of the best. The backed chicken was so, so tasty and the cabbage was outstanding. We had soul food before and this is the best you can get.
