Primal

This was our second visit in a month because the food is that good!! The first time we ordered the five course meal for both of us; it was delicious but we over indulged. This time we asked if we could share and they graciously accommodated us but we also added another appetizer and salad to round out the meal. Every dish was had was a new taste sensation. The service was friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Primal Pasta for an excellent dining experience. Sorry for lack of pictures, we couldn't wait to eat.

Had an incredible experience at Primal for our anniversary. Did the 5 course tasting menu with the natural wine pairing. Price is pretty much on par with many tasting menu’s across Canada but it’s a ton of food. Our server was so nice and extremely knowledgeable about the wine. My only minor criticism was some of the pasta dishes were overly seasoned and the salt tended to overpower the beautiful ingredients they use.

Outstanding meal. We had a group and decided to do the family style 3 course meal. It was amazing. No many flavors and textures. Out entire evening, from our cocktails, appetizers, mains and dessert were amazing. And our waiter Connor tied our evening together to make it an outstanding dining experience.

Primal never disappoints. Love coming here for a tasty meal made with fresh and local ingredients. The staff are awesome, personable, and knowledgable, even when it's busy. Come early if you don't want to be stuck with the rush because every time we've came around 5 and right when we are about to leave it starts filling right up. They are clearly passionate about what they do and you can see that in the food. Very romantic setting and I also enjoy how they use candles at the table when it gets darker. It is for sure worth the price.

Wow! Came here on a Tuesday for pasta and wine, and it was so amazing. The spaghetti and meatballs were just perfect, with the meatballs being so tasty and the perfect size for pasta. The tomato sauce was also so good. I also tried my family's pastas and they were great all around. The cream sauce had such a unique and wonderful taste. I would absolutely go again!

I have loved eating in at Primal and always welcome places like this that elevate the food scene in Saskatoon. While I find the menu offers a tasteful variety, thoughtfully selected and updated, the pizza we ordered for take out did not meet the high expectations I had. Perhaps I was expecting a thinner crust and more elegance in ingredient choice. Nevertheless, Primal is still a favourite of mine for special days. The ambience, service, and delicious pastas will keep you coming back!
