Wish someone would have told me the "regular" weighs more than the "big double" and costs less... the difference being the "regular" has a single patty not two pencil thin patties.

I have been to every cookout within 50 miles of this location, and the Sanford cookout is the best. Consistently very good quality. Great chicken tenders, hot fries, thick shakes, hot burgers.

Shakes are good. Hushpuppys and fries are good. The burgers weren't bad but I'm not a burger type. Tonight I got BBQ platter.The pulled pork was pork paste and did not taste like pork (pic) and the coleslaw had a bunch of iceberg lettuce in it. The only thing I will come back for is the shakes

Cookout has amazing food!!! The hushpuppies are my favorite!! They have over 40 shake flavors as well! Their food is the best for takeout because it tastes just like outdoor cookout food!! The best place in sanford, NC!!! Check them out and you won't be disappointed!!!!!!

I absolutely love cookout but this is by far the worst cookout I've ever been to. The first time I went to this location I was told I couldn't be served, because all their workers had walked out. The second time I went to this location, I waited an over an hour in the drive thru just to get to the window and be told my order was placed incorrectly. This is by far the worst location. Hopefully something changes soon but take it from me, save your money and time. Avoid this location!!

Probably one of the worst Cook Outs I’ve been to. Outside looks run-down, slow service, speakers barely work, and the drive-thru window employees don’t care to speak up. Definitely needs a revamp.

The place is not clean. I don't recommend to go there.
after waiting an hour and half, the waitress said 'my order not showing up'.
I showed my receipt, and I asked to speak to the manager.
A big man came, told him what happened he was rude, he didn't give me my order either the money .

Terrible customer service long lines.They were out of pretty much half of what was on the menu and the food was very small and disgusting. Close this location. Ice in cup smelled like scummy water....
