The best neighborhood spot I could ever hope for. The basa fish is phenomenal- every item on their menu is fresh and made with love. I’m obsessed! I’ve dined in and ordered takeout many times. Cozy interior and lovely staff.

Great little vietnamese, chilled vibe, fun take on the Vietnam theme, experimental and bursting with flavours. I love the wicked buns.

Don't let the slick hipster look and tasty beer options fool you, this place serves some incredible Vietnamese food. I usually prefer pho places that have a gritty feel and cheap tables, but I was blown away at the quality of the broth and attention to detail. Sure, it's a few dollars more, but the taste and quality is well worth it. Bravo

Great food and service. My friend and I ran into this place by mistake and it was indeed a good surprise.

A nice little cozy spot in Polk Gulch. Food as well as interior are more sophisticated than typical Vietnamese in San Francisco but still casual in atmosphere and price. Great selection of world beers. Not quiet nor moody but family friendly. Kind people.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Co Nam and highly recommend it! We devoured every bite and wanted to lick our plates afterwards. We especially enjoyed the Shaken Beef - it was incredibly tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. We absolutely loved the steamed pork buns to start, as well as the bacon wrapped mushrooms and shishito peppers. We chose to sit at the beautiful bar area, where the owner, Trung, welcomed us and was a wonderful host.

Very pleasantly surprised with this find on Polk street. Nice small place, good ambiance, not too noisy we were able to comfortably talk at our table. Most importantly good food, with multiple vegan and vegetarian options.

✭✭✭✭✭ Location: right in the middle of all the hustling bustling of Nob - Russian Hill. ✭✭✭✭✭ Atmosphere: nicely designed with a darker interior with great subtle interior touches. Love for example the water sink in the toilette that replicated the tea landscapes of Vietnam. Modern with good enough spacing between tables to offer privacy, it's a stark differences from the hole in the walls diners. ✭✭✭✭✭ F&B: service a well varied menu that can be flexible according to dietary issues, for Vegetarian / Vegan options there's plenty of beans, tofu to go around. As a fanatic of non deep fried tofu, it's a fresh surprise to see that they don't deep fry tofu as other Asian restaurants. Portions are generous, phos with an abundant amount of noodles. Food tends not to be spicy, for extra kick do ask more hot sauce. ✭✭✭✭✭ Service: came here three times and the food quality and service has been consistently good. Extra: like the vibrant hip music

I often have Sunday lunch here. Healthy and fresh. I find the noodle bowls and spring rolls to be a better alternative to the typical Sunday lunches offered on Polk Street. Friendly and casual and I’ve never experienced the awful wait noted by another reviewer. Offerings of “street food” is an interesting alternative
