Limon

This place was recommended by a friend who lived in SF for 8 years, and it is seriously worth the hype. The atmosphere was great, the food was fantastic (we had rotisserie and a few other), we also ordered a pitcher of sangria — which was too much for 2 people, but the taste was great. It was quite crowded with limited seating, but we got a seat right away outdoors - in small tent-like space across the front door. If you like making new friends, this is a great place, cos you’d sit relatively close to others. It’s SF, so don’t expect easy parking anywhere haha!

First time at any Limon branch. We got a reservation for 7 people on a Saturday. Ordered a lot of food and some of their drinks. Most notable were the ceviche and the roast chicken. Grilled meats were ok. This is not the place for you if you want to have a conversation. Music is loud. I would come back foe the ceviche and maybe a smaller group.

This was a great find in San Francisco, we wanted something different from our normal food choices and had never eaten at a Peruvian restaurant before. The food was delicious and we were delighted to try some new things. Tacu Tacu particularly interesting, the price was right as well, great value for money. Excellent service in a busy room.

I mean, so many people recommended this place to me that I had no doubt it was amazing, and it did not let me down! Thankfully we were a large group, because we ordered almost everything on the menu and it was all so tasty! My favorites were of course the ceviche, but also the octopus was flavorful and not rubbery, and the tongue was insanely tender and delicious. The full chicken was also very good and juicy, the sauce that comes with it is great. The service was quite fast for how large a group we were, too. Can't wait to come back!
