The food was great and so was the customer service. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars solely because the vibe I got in the parking lot (white lives matter stickers on cars) and when I walked in from the customers that me feel like I might not be welcome there.

Very splendid experience to say the least. Food was amazing! Service was phenomenal! The darling servers were extremely attentive and kind. My buddy and I were passing by heading back to DC from Atlanta and were so thankful we made the 10 minute detour. I totally wish we could take this place back north with us, but will certainly make it a priority to return on future ventures.

Yum!!!! Devoured the BBQ and I wasn't even hungry! It was so good. My hush puppies were perfect too, the way I remember the best hush puppies growing up in NC. I grew up in Raleigh area so I didn't know deep south BBQ either eastern or western NC... Really just Smithfield's for what I bought myself. This wasn't like Smithfield's which I think might be eastern? Anyways it had the great vinegar taste I love in NC bbq! The homemade banana pudding was just like a friend's mom made it growing up that is really hard to find done right!!

3/5 for inexpensive but average food in a clean, diner-style restaurant. Both my girlfriend & I ordered the Barbecue Plate with white slaw; I had rolls, & she had hushpuppies. Neither of us enjoyed the BBQ with sauce by itself: it tasted oddly SOUR, with quality like Cook Out's fast food BBQ, but my girlfriend noticed that it was actually pretty good when eaten together with the white slaw; so, we both ate it like that. It was okay. The rolls were disappointing-- just baked/toasted hamburger buns; I enclosed a picture. 👎 However, my girlfriend thought the hushpuppies were excellent: they felt crisp on the outside & fluffy on the inside! 👍 Like the hushpuppies, the crinkle-cut french fries impressed us; they felt crisp outside & fluffy inside with well-balanced saltiness. 👍 Meanwhile, the salad seemed bland & boring: it was just chopped iceberg with white onion strips, shredded cheese, & a packet of your chosen dressing. 👎 Altogether, our meal & a dessert (banana pudding) cost about $25-30, very affordable. Nothing tasted horrible, but nothing stood out as being especially appetizing or delicious; so, we don't have much of a reason to return when there are so many better options in the Mocksville-Salisbury area. I don't have much to say regarding the banana pudding dessert; it was average. I highly recommend eating at The Smoke Pit (also in Salisbury) if you're looking for outstanding BBQ; their brisket & BBQ chicken taste phenomenal!

Place has gotten worse. Hamburger patties shaped like a flower cookie cutter that is not real meat but more fillers and tastes like rubber. The Mayo is definitely not dukes and closer to the coronary amount side of the menu and probably need the lube to get it down! Definitely over cooked or old! Waitress told me there was choc pie on deserts but turned out to be peanut butter caramel pie probably from the food lion down-the hill definitely not home made. Not much home cooking abilities and qualities left here. Example I got the banana pudding for backup and the bananas were rotten I’m not talking bruised I’m talking rotten! See picture below I’m sure they know and sell it to get money off unsuspecting patrons . Not many culinary restaurants still in Salisbury that pride themselves on cleanliness quality and customer service. It’s sad seeing places go down due to the greed and the almighty dollar! I will not eat here again!! Subway is a smarter choice!!

It was just okay. Small portions. Got the chicken Philly and it was a tiny little sandwich. Smaller then the 6inch at subway. Service was great though.
