Denny's

Went to Denny's with my lovely lady Pam. The service was excellent and staff very pleasant. We told our wait staff that the food was exceptionally good and presentation was enticing. People are always willing to write when things aren't good but we should be just a quick to give Kudos when they are deserved. We ate at Denny's on Hawthorne Street because we get good food and staff is professional. Thank you from happy customers.

My daughter really wanted to go to Denny’s tonight for dinner. The food and waitress as always was wonderful, however the cooks could really use an update on following order arrangements. Our waitress was constantly having to apologize for their lack of paying attention. We had 3 families come in 10-15 minutes after our order had been placed that ALL received their drinks, appetizers, and MEALS before our meals even hit the cooktop!! Seriously!!! Kudos to our waitress for how she kept things light and relaxed when she could see we were clearly frustrated and getting hangry.

Glad I didn’t pay for it… WATER GLASS HAD NASTY FOOD RESIDUE THAT I DRANK THANK YOU! Sat there for 9 minutes before someone even said a word to us and when they did they asked if I was ready. I HAD MY MENU CLOSED THE LAST 4 minutes because I was trying to get someone to come over! Water glass sat on the edge of the table until our food arrived because the service was that bad. But after the what? Broccoli grains in my water glass I will not return. Denny’s on Market is way better and much less busy! They weren’t even busy people just stood around too much.

Waitstaff was super fast and friendly. There was six in our group for a business meeting. The place was very busy but we got our beverages quickly and our food order was taken within ten minutes or so. Food came out hot and all our orders were done correctly. Our waitress checked on us often and my coffee cup was never empty. Prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Definitely an above average experience for a chain restaurant.
