Applebee's

We got in just when they opened so it wasn't super crowded. Our server, Maria, was excellent and very attentive. I had the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp with Blue Raspberry Lemonade. My son had his Chicken Tenders and Fries. We had the Crispy Onion Rings for an appetizer and the Triple Chocolate for dessert. Onion rings were excellent. My food was good. Dessert was really sweet and the chocolate lava in the middle was hot while the cake was not. So be careful not to burn yourself. Overall, the meal was tasty. I ended up spending almost $60 for everything but I got to have leftovers.

Stopped by to wait out the traffic and have dinner. The reception by the hostess was nice and I was seated immediately. My waitress was friendly and efficient and I had the white queso dip and water with lemon within 5 minutes of being seated. The dip wasn't exactly creamy but it had flavor and was just warm enough to eat immediately so I did. Then came the Tex Mex bowl with shrimp. I was really looking forward to the mixed greens because I'd been wanting a salad every since I drove by Salad To Go (review coming soon😉) earlier that day. Also staring cilantro lime rice, guacamole and black bean and corn salsa. I dug in to discover tons of iceberg lettuce with maybe a bit of romaine sprinkled round to say it's "mixed greens". To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Aside from that it was well seasoned and very flavorful. That lettuce tho SMH. I left feeling filled but somehow not quite satisfied. But Applebee's has a little something for everyone. Stop by and see what they have for you!!

Food delicious, but coupons weren't as good as appeared to be, as non-alcoholic beverages were pricier than we'd ever seen, that needing to buy beverage to get deal isn'tworth it. Beverage prices weren't on menu. We had to ask them twice what the cost was. A couple nearby were shocked that their sodas cost that much. Ask, if you don't see price listed. Regular lunch menu was less expensive & pretty filling.
