We went here on Sunday 10th September, very hot day and very busy . As such we waited almost an hour but given the amount of people there that was not surprising.
There were 5 of us , 4 meals were very good , Lasagna, Hunters Chicken , gammon , egg ,chips & beans x2 . The 5th meal was my husbands , he chose the fish which was very thin and also very dry . It was very good value for the price we paid and had my husbands food been as tasty as the other 4 of us I would definitely give 5 stars . Will come again for sure but avoid the fish & chips . The girl brought out the meals holding the plates with a cloth but failed to warn my young granddaughter that the plate was very hot which whilst it would be obvious isn’t necessarily obvious to a child .

Lovely place, nice big beer garden and very dog friendly. Staff was lovely and polite. I'm vegan so didn't find many option for that but my friends said the roast dinner was yummy. Entertainment is fab over the weekends too.

Was looking for somewhere locally whilst travelling that was dog friendly and sold everyday food. The Aspen fitted the bill nicely. All 3 mains ordered where very nice and they even had a seniors menu. Wasn't going to have a dessert, but so glad we did and the staff made us very welcome. Thank you

This was a good place to take my 91 year old mum for Sunday dinner. I asked for a quiet table away from loudspeakers due to her being deaf. We were given an ideal table and enjoyed our food. Attentive and friendly staff.

Newly done up looks very nice. Friendly staff not long to wait for food the food was freshly cooked piping hot and scrumptious. Would highly recommend. 👌👍🍽🍻
