Fun History and Great Food. Camp Grant is one of my favorite places to go. It's a great place to eat and visit with your people. The museum is always growing with new donations. Tours are available. Call and make your reservation. You will enjoy the experience.

Another hidden gem tucked away in northern, IL in Rockford. Museum was outstanding, with many artifacts, and many pictures of world war one, and world war two. It had the History of Rockford with many Pictures of the area, and aerial photos of many sections of the area for the Largest Camp in America of it's time it's hard to believe it's gone besides the airport. The building is a bit rundown, but don't think it is not worth seeing. The wealth of history in this hidden gem is worth it. the food was great as well. (Biscuits & gravey ) were outstanding, and I am particular about my biscuits.

The food is home cooked. The people are friendly. A great place to eat. It is also a museum of World War 1 and 2. When it was a Army Post.

Fantastic. Sit down and have a meal in the museum. Check out the rest of the place. A wonderful piece of history of Camp Grant and the U.S. Army during WW 1.

Went to see museum. It was really informative. They seem to have a good menu, but did not eat. Will next time I am in Rockford.

A touch of history, it's a must go for history bluffs. Check hrs, not always open but worth the trip just to see all the old military items and the food is great.
