Wild West Beef was excellent and unique. Its served on a sesame seed bun with Bacon, American Cheese, bbq sauce, chipotle sauce, and topped with onion rings

New to area. This is I guess a big beef. Not really that big but at $5.49 not bad. Asked for hot peppers (a/k/a Giardiniera) but got red bell peppers 🤣

I watched a video from mashed about the best regional fast food chains in each state and this one was the one for Illinois. It has a nice layout with the kind of 50s drive in style. There is a lot to choose from on the menu and the food is really good.

I love the olive burger but when I had one at this location, it was cold. I wanted to ask for a new one but I got nervous about making a scene. Fries were good and hot. Cheese curds were good and hot. Straws were not by the soda station. I had to wait in line again to ask the register lady for one. Overall rating; Meh.

If you are not from the Rockford area, this is one fast food restaurant you must try. Exclusive to our region, Beef a Roo is best known for its cheddar fries and, of course, all beef burgers! Also, the pork tenderloin sandwich is a favorite with many locals. This place has something for everyone and although beef is on the moniker, they have some tasty vegetarian options as well.
