Thai Chili

Really enjoyed dinner here with the family. We had a combination of shrimp fried rice, spring rolls, shrimp dumplings and Penang curry. Service was great and so was most of the food. Didn’t care too much for the shrimp dumplings and I asked for level 4 heat on the curry and it came out completely mild. Definitely added chili but it is always better cooked into it. Overall though was a great experience.

Uber Eats order showed 6:41 pm estimated completion and pick up time. Arrived at 6:35 pm and ended up waiting until 7:05 pm before my order was finally ready. I asked the employee why it took so long and was told they always take about 30 minutes to complete Uber Eats orders. This was not the case on this order. No apologies whatsoever. We ordered two drunken noodles and two pad thais along with one soup. Presentation of each was good as were portion sizes. Flavors, however, were mediocre. The soup was a tad salty and lacked heat. Maybe this was an off night for the kitchen? Either way, this was average at best. With other Thai options nearby (Sea Siam, Simply Thai), Thai Monkey will have to up their game.

Found my new Thai spot! Thai Monkey is a delight! I ordered (to-go) veggie Pad See Ew, my wife ordered Chicken Pad Thai. Both dishes are flavorful and cooked perfectly. Portion sizes are on the bigger side (I have lunch for tomorrow!) Restaurant location is easy enough to get to, however I didn’t see much signage; that would be my only suggestion and this very well may have been because it was dark outside. Very happy I found Thai Monkey, however sad it took me this long to try it!

Just ordered a good mix of items to go. Honestly none of it was good. About $90 worth of apps and a few entrees. The soup we ordered was supposed to be a 5 spice and did not have any spice. The Thai chicken wings were undercooked and not edible. The other items were pretty sloppy. I called to let them know only about the soup mix up with no spice and the undercooked wings. Out of the $90 dollar order I only mentioned those two small items in how a refund would be nice. Instead of a quick refund, I was told I needed to drive back up there to prove it and then I could get a discount next time I came in. Honestly I would have loved to get the entire meal comped, but only mentioned about $12 of the entire $90 order and they were not interested in making it right unless I “proved” it. Driving 30 minutes to prove $12 is not a great customer experience.

Delicious food but not professional. To start off, the parking lot is too small where there wasn't any parking available so I had to park at a nearby lot the first time I went and next to a bunch of boards with nails sticking out the second time. I did take out and they forgot part of my order. They said it was going to be another 20 minutes to get the rest of my food. I drove back and waited at the restaurant and didn't get my food until it'd been 45 minutes since I called about getting it replaced. Overall, I wouldn't order takeout from here but I'd consider dining in so any mistakes can be fixed right away. Heads up, they actually get their food pretty spicy. It was great for me but my husband was dying with the medium so go on the lower end of your spice tolerance.
