Copper Kettle

Had a drink at the nice cozy bar before eating. After the drink we sat at a booth. I ordered the new york strip steak. It was very tender and juicy.The garlic baby red mashed potatoes were really creamy. The service was very fast and polite. After our meal we each got a free spin on their wheel where you can win a free appetizer, free dinner, free dessert, or a buck off next time you visit. We all won a buck off but still made it enjoyable

On a scale of 1-10 ,the food was a 4. Baked potato was leathery and dried out, my wife’s steak was over cooked and flavorless. The service was worse that the food. Had to nurse our drinks as we were unsure when we would get a refill. All of this made the meal overpriced. So much for a nice anniversary meal!

We come here a lot and it's great, but they could do with a few more thoughtful vegetarian options. It's kind of hard to find something here for me nowadays. And they could reeeeally use some light touches to their interior decorating. That wallpaper and scary old horse paintings... Best breadsticks in town though! :) Their entrees are very nice quality for meat eaters. And the service is always wonderful.

When we were seated, I notified the staff it was my mom's birthday. They didn't offer so much as a "Happy Birthday" wish. Of the 4 steaks we ordered, only one came at the correct temperature. After ordering a medium-rare steak and receiving a steak with almost no pink in the middle, I politely notified the server who took it back to the kitchen. She returned to our table and informed me that my steak had in fact been cooked correctly. Funny, that's not what they taught us in culinary school, and my mom's medium steak was pink on the edges and red in the middle. The server brought me a new steak, not medium rare but bleu-barely seared on the outside and raw and cold all the way to the outside edges. She offered to take it back. I said no, I didn't trust the cooks to prepare it properly. She said, "OK!" walked away, and still charged us for it. I will NEVER return to this restaurant. Bad food, horrible service. Very disappointing as I had heard so many good things.
