Prime Burger Ridgefield

Recently moved to Ridgefield,CT Never had eaten at prime burger before. My husband and I were picking something up at CVS and notice the smell coming from prime burger its smelled amazing...But then we both order our 2 burgers and 1 order of fries...when we ordered the burgers we didn't know the size if the burgers until we got them...First of all they were small not large in any way...oh and I believe we also had a drink that to 1 beverage to share only...The point I'm getting at is the PRICE was outrageously HIGH for the amount of food that they were giving to you...

I’ve had the Chipotle Prime Burger as it was the special of the day. Good burger nonetheless. Better than shake shack but shake shack’s apple wood smoked bacon tasted better. Lobster roll doesn’t taste that bad since i’ve already tasted the one from Maine. Overall, good tasting burger. Not too dry and not too oily.

Had a pretty rough experience here. Menu is fine, narrow choices which is smart for a burger place trying to do good burgers but to staff your kitchen with people this young and no strong management, you get chaotic service. We waited half an hour before realizing our order had been given to another customer. Kids behind counter were nice but getting our food took forever and of course since it was rushed it was subpar.

Wasn't thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. Expensive, the food quality didn't match the price. I got the prime burger with sauteed onions, mushrooms, relish and prime sauce. I'm thinking it's going to be super messy, how are they gonna fit all that on the burger?! They made it fit, by putting trace amounts of each topping, geez. Must be a topping shortage. On a good note, the place was clean, staff friendly and pleasant music playing. Though the outside parking lot and sidewalk was a bit dangerous with unshoveled snow and ice. I was recommended this place as I mentioned 5 guys having the best tasting burgers. The person said Prime Burger was better, I will politely disagree.

This is a solid burger joint located in the heart of Ridgefield. They use a unique combo of chuck·brisket·prime(hence the name) rib beef cuts. The patties are of a loose grind and clearly hand formed as they aren't perfectly round pucks. A similar menu layout to five guys where u get a slew of free toppings incl. their delish prime sawse!...but that's where the common ground ends since they offer a higher quality level of options and sides like bibb lettuce,applewood bacon, multiple cheeses etc..... Juicy and flavorful and a whole lot messy and a lil fragile. It stands up to some of the best in the state...def worth a trip.
