Copa Cafe

My favorite place in Richmond for HK cafe food. There are so many options! Great for when your whole family and or friend group is craving something different. Although it's my fav, it's not the best (reason for 4 stars). Like the recooked frozen veggies for the hotplate/customizable plates are terrible. Comparing it to many other HK cafe places, the quality and quantity for what you pay is good (others are pricey). I normally get the customizable plates (ribeye steak, fried filet, Fries or spaghetti, ice lemon tea). My family would get the stir fried noodles or Chinese set dinners to share. Service, not bad. They do get super busy often so I highly recommend making a reservation. Food gets served relatively quick once the order is in. Parking lot is a bit annoying, but it's free!

The baked rice and baked spaghetti were just OK. If you look at the pictures....the cheese they put on is just a sprinkle.. Not very much cheese at all. The toppings were very sparse so you ended up with lots of noodle and very little flavor. Barely any meat. The noodles were also over boiled and kinda soggy... Not even close to Al dente. The customer service is also not the greatest here... Very curt staff. Was not impressed..... :(

**update 01** - 1 hour after meal, both of us had diarrhea and we had to stop by Aberdeen center to poop --------------- 1) Tea - over boiled, bitter. Not to mention the server spilled a quarter of it and didn't even apologize for it. 2) Menu - expensive with small portion, "afternoon tea menu" has literally limited selection, and for the ramen option you have to add $3, and the price equals regular menu 3) Healthiness - absolutely zero... very greasy dishes 4) Soup Noodle - simply flavorless 5) Environment - Reno but I am here for food not for atmosphere. I can visit Joe Fortes for atmosphere. 6) Free parking is the positive. Is there anywhere in Richmond that actually is pay parking only?
