Applebee's

Overall, our experience was ok. Food took a little while to get to us, but they were a little busy so I can't blame them for that. I ordered the blackened chicken with shrimp, while my wife ordered the 4 cheese macaroni and cheese with chicken strips. The chicken and shrimp dish was smaller than I thought it would be, especially for the price. I ended up eating some of my wife's food because my dish wasn't enough. My wife's macaroni and cheese was a lot more food and the flavor was good for the most part. We expecting the dish to be very cheesy and creamy, but were disappointed when the dish came with a small amount of cheese. The saving grace for this dish was its size and the chicken strips, they were very good! We ended dinner with their molten chocolate cake with ice cream and it was delicious. Overall, I think we spent about $40 and left feeling not very good about it. We probably won't go back again unless it's for social reasons. If we do, we probably won't order the dishes we ordered today.

Late lunch and they weren't crowded at all, service was friendly and the food was pretty fast. I tried the French Onion soup and it was not to my liking; very bland taste and the cheese wasn't browned so was very chewy - I did not eat it. I ordered the Oriental Salad with friend chicken and it was wonderful, very fresh and delicious. My waitress recommended a brownie bite to round out the meal with just a small sweet and it was decadent and the perfect size. The brownie was warm and melted in your mouth, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Overall a great experience!

I got one soup for the price of two ordered from the door dash app. No spilling in the bag, so it was packaging and not delivery. They offered me a $1.45 refund on a $14 order. Really? I literally poured one into the other and got one container. This place is just always over priced and not very good. I keep thinking maybe it’ll be different, but this is the last time I’m ordering from them. The second photo is literally what I got. For $14.

Paid for “extra pico” this is the total amount of food for a $15 taco salad bowl. I paid $6 for a BOWL of soup and got this barely a cup amount. Not cool Applebees, not cool.☹️ None of these restaurants seem to have much accountability for ripping people off for a misleading amount of food. 🤦‍♀️Fork in photos for size reference.

I eat at Applebee's a lot when traveling. I ordered a sirloin steak. What came to the table was some unknown cut of meat to me...and I'm a hunter. One bite of it and totally lost my appetite. The service was fine. The bartender was nice. My advice is to eat somewhere else but okay if you are going to have a couple of drinks.

If you're looking for a nice, sit-down meal but don't want to spend a lot of money, Applebee's is a great option. The portions are medium sized but should suffice for most people. I ordered the chicken parmesan and it was delicious! The service was also great - our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great experience.
