Kobe Seafood & Steakhouse

It was a bit of a shock to actually sit down at a table and eat. Quite fun to watch the food being prepared. The steak was excellent, bit too much soy in the rice. The draft IPA was really good. scallops were excellent, lobster a little over cooked but still good. The staff were polite and efficient. Its the sort of place you go once, then order the sushi, skip the show. Enjoyable fun evening. Everyone was enjoying themselves, good atmosphere, noisey and fun, big flames, green hair! people actually dressed up to go out.

Had dinner with a couple girlfriends...we ordered a lot of food and everything was AH-MAZ-ING! We didn't go for the show-side...but service was good, and the food has left me craving to return daily! Priced well. I hadn't had sushi that was so good since Ya Tai in West Hollywood! I substitute soy paper for seaweed...for a $1 charge each roll. If you have people in your party who think they don't like sushi, sub with soy and they just might cross over. I think I just drooled...

They had limited indoor seating. We were seated immediately and our waitress was incredibly kind and helpful. She answered all our questions and was very friendly and helpful. The bus boy was even amazing. He was so nice and kept clearing away our empty dishes so they were out of our way. Everything was so clean and our glasses never went empty.

Some of the best food I've ever had! Service was great, and the mood was uplifting. Couldn't even eat it all, enough for another meal. Everything was cooked to perfection. The chef was fun and made some food magic in front of our eyes. Hostess was great and was very compassionate about all of the horrific tragedy the CARR fire has placed on our small town. This was day 7 of the deadly fire and I really wasn't in the mood to go out and eat, but my best friend came by and made me get out and try a new place. She is the best! I will look forward to going back when I am not so concerned about the people displaced by the fire.

The service and experience overall was great. We made reservations at the hibachi, which was fun. The food in general was yummy, though the quality of ingredients was a bit lacking for what you pay. Specifically, the salad and soup preceding the hibachi meal. Iceberg lettuce with a watery mayonnaisey dressing is a poor representation of a salad. And the "onion" soup was a generic flavored broth with a sprinkle of what looked like French's fried onions. Next time, we'll try a regular table and explore other menu items!
