Ribble Pilot

The food was very good. As advertised, good quality and still hot when arriving at our table. I'm a real fuss pot about how my steak is cooked, and this one was perfectly rare and not an ounce of fat on it either! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only thing that let the meal down was a group of drinkers shouting across to people playing on the fruit machines next to the bar. This is no way a bad reflection on the establishment, it just took the edge off the meal a bit and another couple had to move away.

Gorgeous pub with lovely friendly staff who all stopped for a chat with this random Aussie. The chef, waitress, barman all made me feel so welcome. The difference between this place and any pub in Liverpool is night and day. Had a lovely meal of fish n chips. Only £9.50 😊 Didn't have a drink because I was driving. I sat inside in beautiful big comfy armchair and took my time in the aircon. But they've got a beautiful outdoors area overlooking the river too. Recommend everyone to visit this lovely place on the way to Blackpool. Towns great too. Thanks Ribble Pilot you made my day 😁

Great pub, staff might need to be a little more friendly, rather than just referencing to just look online attitude for allergens menu, just a shame there isn’t much choice for gluten free people. Not the staffs fault, but the chain should look into accommodating for dietary requirements better. I think the presentation of food could have been better, just looked to be thrown on a plate or dish as that how a burger arrived, specially when it’s not busy. Menu states that the burgers are show stopping but they only thing they are stopping is a return visit.

Absolutely fabulous place to dine and drink. The food was absolutely beautiful, well presented and tasted amazing. Excellent quality food and service. The atmosphere is so lovely and staff were all so helpful, welcoming and lovely to chat to. We were made to feel so welcome and we will definitely be returning and bring more family members with us next time. Thank you to all the staff today, Joe, Ryan, Dan, Jess, Monica & Cam. 🙂

The service was excellent and nothing too much trouble. The food was cooked very well and for the garden peas were not like cannon balls. My husband and I had the surf and turf. The steak was delicious. Apple crumble to follow which was very nice and a good helping. All in all a good food experience for us both. Thank you, see you next time.
