Went 25-10-2023 had the mixed grill the steak was cooked to perfection and a great portion the place is getting renovated starting 6-11-2023 place will be definitely be a revisit on the book and the staff are very helpful

Always enjoy popping into this pub on my home from a busy day shopping. Always great service staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to everyone. Great range of food and drinks. There's seating inside and outside. Plus car park, animal friendly.

It's years since we last visited but thankfully things have improved immensely. While basically a pub serving food as opposed to a restaurant the service was good, staff polite and prices reasonable. The food itself was really tasty and ample without being over facing. It would be nice if access to the disabled ramp didn't necessitate climbing the slope of the carpark. Certainly worth another visit though.

Popped in on Monday night with my mum. I haven't been for years but was impressed. Food was really good and service was quick. My mum had a chicken skewer kebab meal, I had scampi and chips.

Had lunch and it was fantastic, great service, great food and a great pint of real ale. I had the fish & chips with mushy peas, the best I have had in a long time. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I will he back very soon.

Enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch.
Plenty of tasty beef, roast potatoes, carrot & parsnip in a nice sweet dressing, green cabbage & cauliflower. Gravy is normally added to the meal but we asked for it separate which was no problem and served in small gravy boats. We also ordered a portion of cauliflower cheese to share between 2. We arrived at 12 without reserving a table but luckily there was one available. Staff were polite and professional, meal was served hot and there was plenty of it. Thoroughly enjoyed and definitely recommend

We’ve been coming to the Yew Tree for around a decade, it’s great to see home made food and a welcoming environment - that also allows dogs! It was very busy, which is wonderful to see. We need to keep supporting businesses.
The portions are very generous, we had to both ask for ‘doggy bags’ to bring half our food home, which just means we will be able to enjoy it all over again.
The staff were lovely, the gentleman who served us was excellent, he was very helpful with any queries we had however he definitely undersold just quite how big the portions are for the value. See you again soon.

We had an al fresco experience for our 2st visit, staff is very kind and helpful, food absolutely amazing, I had baked salmon with saffron sause.. just divine ✨️.

Myself and my partner came for tea, the staff were lovely and welcoming and created a fab atmosphere. The food was absolutely brilliant! If your a mushroom fan I would 1 million percent reccomend the garlic mushroom starter it's to die for! Lovely food and lovely service and very reasonably priced too. Already looking forward to our next visit *****
