Staff a little slow, stood waiting to be served while staff chatted behind counter.

Today (4 December 2020) at 2pm the only male staff member working with two other females, was impatient in his greeting and service. He was very rude and BLATANTLY DISRESPECTFUL to myself and mother. We did not take long to order what we usually always order, so his impatient attitude was not warranted. I usually go to subway and I'm familiar with the menu and the ordering process. I have not been into this store since about march this year before covid became an issue here in Australia. So it was not a nice experience to be treated this way when returning to a favourite lunch place. I did notice a sign on the door saying "now hiring good staff wanted" and I'd have to say I'm not surprised.

The food is exactly what you would expect of a subway. Not bad quality and overall enjoyable.
My issue lies with the enforcement of COVID regulations. I have never been as crowded and pushed along by customers as I have been twice at this store. I highly recommend having someone on Covid duty during high traffic times to make sure there are not too many people in the store and everyone is spread out properly. I can also recommend a new panini press as that was practically the only item being used and causing a massive clog up.
The short version - the food is good and the staff does their job well but they get overwhelmed by the amount of customers and not enough capacity to deal with them.

10/06/2021 5.00pm very dissatisfied did not get my order right no sweet chilli sauce, bacon wasn't cooked Italian herbs roll was soggy, I asked for it to be toasted, I love my Subway. This time very disappointed.

I visited this store just for a few side items which also seemed to be a big hassle for the 1 girl working. One in particular with dark hair, glasses mid 40’s. She was very abrupt and rude when we asked to add something, regardless. She spoke to a man that came in saying he didn’t want melted cheese on his subway and proceeded to tell him “well next time don’t order this sub if you don’t want melted cheese” broken English, obviously confused and anxious, it’s a subway???? You can order what you please?? Melted cheese or not. I’m disgusted. I’ve worked at subway for 2 years prior to this and I’ve never felt so ashamed. Reading the later reviews also it sounds like the same person. I’d be mortified if this was the owner. Will not be coming back.

My experience today was nothing short of awful. Stifling hot inside, our sub was put together so poorly that it fell apart and the coffee was tasteless even after a second attempt

I ordered a sub with one of the meats being turkey. I asked if I could swap the turkey for chicken. They said that'll be an extra $4. I asked why I've swapped it before without being charged. The lady said very rudely like I was taking up her time. That chicken is more expensive than turkey. Really, I'd like to know in what world has chicken ever been more expensive than turkey? If anyone knows please tell me. Unbelievable.
