It's All Greek To Me

I grew up on LI, went to Our Last of Wisdom (Catholic School just up the street), and went down port every couple of weeks. I've since moved to Arizona, where we aren't exactly known for our pizza. Every year, my husband (also from LI) & I go visit family back home in Lindenhurst and Merrick. I brought him to Port Jeff Pizza on a rare putting to show him down port, and now... EVERY YEAR we go home, we will drive all the way out to Port Jefferson for the best pizza on the island! The memories, the flavors, the service.... THANK YOU! A million times over- THANK YOU! see you in a few months!

We arrived to the ferry with just a small window of time and empty stomachs. I was thinking of just getting a few of the ready-made slices, but then my partner asked about getting a fresh pie and how long that would take. We got an estimate of 15 minutes, but as soon as he read our hesitant looks, he vowed, "10 minutes." We agreed, and within 10 minutes we had a fresh pepperoni pie, plus two impulse-buy Jamaican beef patties that were fresh out of the oven, and it all hit the spot when we enjoyed it on the ferry not long afterward. This place was exactly what we needed, and then some! If you also find yourself waiting for the ferry and in need of good food in a hurry, this is the place to go.

Not bad! Pizza better than youde expect in a little place like this, kinda like a gem in the rough. Only draw back was the lobby was tiny and theres no seats or anywhere to sit at all except a few shelf areas to place your pizza on the sides, i would imagine it wouod be rather akward to eat your pizza there when theres a large line of people standing 2 feet from you. But honestly what do you expect when your given so little room to work with. Good job! Service was quick and friendly, nice it you just want some quick food on the go as you walk around Port Jeff and do some shopping or etc. Oh and the Crust is perfection!!!!!
