Peking 8 China Buffet

I am not normally the type of person to leave bad reviews on a place but I am so icked out from my experience there Sunday. My sister and I went for lunch and the food was luke warm at best. But the worst part was when I went to take a bite from one of those red chicken on a stick things. I noticed a feather had been cooked on the piece and I was horrified. I peeled it off and it was in fact a feather, you could separate the bits of feather and fan it out. We had a worker inspect it for themselves and upon confirmation of it being a feather we had a tiny bit taken off our total cost. It still cost us $30 for one plate each, two total which hadn't been finished and one drink each. That was ridiculous, I was grossed out all day and couldn't stop thinking about it and I will not be visiting there ever again. If I could get zero stars I would and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I don't ever take the time to leave reviews, but I've also never walked out on a full plate of food before. Every item looked like it was over a day old, and the sushi literally had liquid all over and around it. I took one bite of chicken, and I knew that it was going to give me food poisoning if I continued. I mentioned it to the manager, and she instantly started yelling about "paying for the plate." So, I paid $20 for one bite of old, cold and rubbery chicken, and she wouldn't even listen to me about my concerns that the food wasn't edible. I highly recommend never stepping foot inside this place unless you want to take the chance on getting pretty sick. If they would have handled the business more appropriately, I would never have left a review and chalked it up to just a bad day for them, but since they wouldn't listen to our concerns, I figure others should know to not even try it!

Disgrace! The food is horrible, broke my tooth, literally on a meal that was to be my birthday meal. Not 1 person in my group would eat their food because it was too hard, old and the lady running the place kept picking her teeth and flipping the food off her finger standing right over us. The silverware still had leftover food on them. We didn't eat and told them we couldn't stay and that we didn't eat, but was willing to pay for the half glass of tea, and crab rangoon that broke the tooth. She was irate and SCREAMED at us in Chinese, told us "Go home" and we did. Who is going to stand up for us and say enough is enough!?!? They continue to serve this absolute God awful food because no one makes them accountable. We are forced to deal with it! Terrible that children had to experience this and be terrified, scared, because these folks acted like a $13 plate of slop was going to break them. We are the reason this place is successful or not. Without customers, happy, satisfied customers, this business would not thrive. They should be ashamed!! We should be walking out of there a happy camper! Even if we didn't choose to eat there, we should have been able to feel our opinions counted and we mattered. An apology at the least. Instead we were told to leave, cursed out, acted like they couldn't speak English or understand me! Rude rude!! Never in my life have I experienced such a disgraceful, tacky, unprofessional situation in my 53 years!!

Don't waste your money. My husband and I use to frequent this place quite a bit, but after today we wont be back . I'm guessing they opened at noon today (Sunday) and everything they had out was cold and tasted old. The only thing that was hot was the breaded chicken a gal brought out to me. We paid $38. Such a waste for a day that is usually our only day to go out to eat during the week. I made a comment as I was about to pay and the woman didn't even care. Hell she probably didn't understand what I was even saying.

Food was cold and very nasty! Staff was very rude !! Save your appetite for somewhere else!! Don’t waste your money!!! FOOD WAS SO OLD YOU COULD SEE THROUGH IT AND COULDN’T EVEN EAT IT!!! RICE WAS OLD IT WAS LUNCH AND THIS WAS AT 6PM WHEN I WAS THERE!!! WORST BUFFET I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! OVER PRICED!!!!!! THEY DON’ T DESERVE A ONE STAR!!!!

Always, always, always will love Peking! I've been frequenting there ever since I was little and it was in a strip by the old toys r us. The lady who runs it is always ready with a smile and they are quick about ringing us up. I love their green beans!!! As with all buffets, you gotta choose the right time to go. If you show up too early or late, you're gonna get food that isn't as fresh.
