We found this place while shopping in Shadyside. The food was very good. They have some vegetarian options which we were glad to see. My husband had a hamburger and said it was the best burger he ever ate. The Greek salad was huge. The mushroom cheese steak( vegetarian) was very good too. We plan to go back again.

Shady Grove just might be my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh! The food (I always recommend the Hippy Chick and Hot Honey Pie), service, and drinks are always amazing! Anytime I have a visitor from out of town, I make sure we stop at Shady Grove. They somehow manage to have a huge variety of options on their menu while making sure every single thing they offer is delicious.

We ate here on our trip to this part of the city. Recommended by locals. It is a popular place. It was a good experience overall. The service was good. The parking is very limited because the restaurant is in a residential neighborhood. You may have to ride around the block a few times to find a spot. Thats probably the only negative from our experience. There is a bar and tables to dine. Both seem to be popular. When we return it will be a place we come to.

The food was good. I had higher expectations before receiving my Korean style chicken sandwich, however. I was expecting my sandwich to be drowned in gochujang sauce and be a little more authentic tasting. The French fires were delicious, though! Crunchy and soft! Lastly, the service was slow. We waited too long to get our check and get out.

Came to shop on Walnut Street and enjoy some local fare. The food was excellent and there are lots of great options. The service was on point and we ate outside since the weather was perfect. There is off and on street parking available within a short distance. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Delicious and diverse menu! We were in the mood for a refreshing, healthy (but yummy) lunch and this really hit the spot. The best part is that it's located just off Walnut Street so it's close to all the action but the patio is still quiet and enjoyable. We noticed some happy hour deals that we'll have to come back for!

I randomly found on Google maps. Atmosphere was really nice. Indoor and outdoor seating. Variety of food was good enough but not so much. We enjoyed our food, I got a chicken parm sandwich. Perfect size and not too much breading. Fries were okay always prefer fresh cut. Our waiter would of been the down fall to this experience- he was slow and did not check on us.

Great spot to meetup with friends and hang out. Hip little spot in a very cool neighborhood. Some creative as well as classic options for food. Service was smooth and prompt. The patio was delightful. Bring your friends and enjoy.
