Stopped in for a drink and an appetizer at the bar. The drinks were excellent with 3 local Carolina beers on tap. Our calamari appetizer was excellent and our bartender was helpful and welcoming. And the bar and patio are both pretty cool spots to hang out.

Added 20% service charge to the entire bill but you still need tip on top of that. No warning whatsoever about the charge. Ordered a regular drink and they gave me a double for some reason, exorbitant prices. Food quality was average. Not worth the extra 20% Bartender was hard to understand and somewhat deceitful

Delicious food!
My husband and I arrived during the lunch hours but just before dinner. I really wanted to try the salmon on the dinner menu. We inquired about choosing our meals from the dinner menu and we were obliged. I am so glad we did. It was delicious! We also had the Southern Hushpuppies as an appetizer and blueberry peach cobbler for dessert. Both were amazing!! I don't think I've ever had better tasting hushpuppies. The dessert was truly unique and paired well with the blueberry ice cream. My husband had The Butcher's Turkey sandwich with sweet potatoe fries, another great dish. Hats off to the chef. We will definitely dine here again even if we're not guests of The Inn.

It took a pretty long time to get our food. Our water glasses remained empty for over half an hour but waitress not in sight to refill. Took 10 minutes to get a refill after asking. My child’s hamburger was cooked medium rare and he felt uncomfortable eating it. Expensive meal for kind of bad service.

One of my favs in Pinehurst. 100+ year old In with charm that surrounds you when you enter the foyer. The Tavern offers an eclectic menu of good food;. I always enjoy their crab cakes....meaty with minimal filler. Sitting outside during nice weather is frabjous!

10 out of 10 for the Tavern. Terry, our waiter did an excellent job taking care of us.Our dinner was excellent! Can't say enough about the Tavern except...put it on your list & treat your out of town guest to a night at the Tavern as well!

The outdoor patio is amazing on a sunny day. The staff is incredibly friendly and service is great. They have a curated menu of tasty bites and a good selection at the bar. Highly recommend if you're in downtown southern pines.

2ND POSTING - IN THE AREA AGAIN. THIS TIME 5PM. DECIDED TO GO IN FOR DINNER. HOST FRED & WAITOR TERRY PROVIDED A GREAT REPEAT EXPERIENCE. CALAMARI WAS GREAT. TURKEY SANDWICH , SWEET POTATO FRIES & HOMEMADE CHIPS SUPERB. OH , DRAFT BEERS TASTY ALSO !!!!!!
2 WEEKS AGO - FOUND THIS GEM !!!! EVERYONE WAS NICE. THE HOST JOSHUA THAT SAT US. THE SERVER NOAH. THE BARTENDER. HOMEMADE POTATO CHIPS FOR FREE. SWEET POTATO FRIES WERE PERFECT. MY TURKEY SANDWICH WAS VERY TASTY. NICE SIZED PORTIONS.
