El Encanto Dos

Surprised, & thrilled at this local spot. Has an old territorial Arizona feel and a great outdoor patio area looking out on a lush garden view/ wedding area. Then, they serve Phoenix' best house margaritas (same as El Encanto's in Cave Creek, of course). So, while we used to drive down to El Encanto in Cave Creek, we're switching it up for Dos!

I've been coming here for years! However, a friend of mine and I got dinner here and it was his first time trying out El Encanto Dos. I had arrived early and let our server know he doesn't like spicy much before he arrived, and if she wanted to give him some recommendations when he did arrive I'd appreciate it. Figuring it'd be just the typical excellent experience I'm used to here, he arrived, and she specifically recommended dishes that weren't too spicy but were amazing, including her favorite! She always made sure we were well taken care of, and never once did we have to ask for anything, including more iced tea! She was totally on it! I forget her name, but she was the blonde one, hair in a ponytail, and literally just so present in the moment with my friend and I, I'll never forget how kind and sweet and amazing she was! I told the manager to give her a raise times two, because he came by to check on us too! Because of the nice young lady who was our server, anybody I host who visits from out of town, or even to grab dinner with a friend, El Encanto Dos just became my top spot to choose to go! I always get the plato burro with vegetables, literally my fave. Thank you!

GET THE STEAK. In all seriousness, the vibe was off the charts. The food was amazing, service was good, the margaritas were delicious (raspberry (frozen) was slapping) The live music was the icing on top of the cake. There was a musician in there who played the acoustic guitar and man oh man every chord and strum of his strings sent me into a tasty, delicious, melodic experience. I have my bachelors in music performance and this was a performance for the tastebuds and honestly all the senses to be experienced by all far and wide.

I had the chicken fajitas and my wife had the ceviche - but we're fantastic. The chicken was so smokey that I had to ask how they prepared it. The margaritas were also very good. I'm today looking forward to going back again. The bar looked great as well. This is the kind of place I will bring my friends when they come to visit.

Fantastic place for lunch and dinner! The food is wonderful and service is pretty quick. The margaritas are also fantastic. My husband and I come a couple of times a month and are never disappointed. Really nice having the carry out option as well. Their salsas are another big hit, especially the green one!
