My family was craving for Japanese food and I suggested to dine in at Okiniri, the supervisor was really accomadating and friendly. They also offer buffet and catering service and they are the ones that supplies california maki at Queensland catering 👍🏻Thumbs up for good food and service.

Had lunch with my friends. Accomodating servers, chill ambiance, affordable, neat, generous servings, great food. What's not to like? Definitely coming back 😊

One might overlook this simple-looking restaurant along Tropical Ave in BF International. It looks like a house converted into a Japanese restaurant, with its homey interiors and traditional low tables where you sit on the floor. It's also not the usual buffet - for this one, you can order as much as you want off their menu, and they will cook each dish fresh. It avoids food wastage, food you eat is freshly cooked thus you're assured it's always hot but it does kind of drag when you have to wait for your order to come out. One technique we gathered was to order a lot at the start of your buffet, so that each dish comes out from the kitchen like clockwork.

We had beautifully cooked ebi tempura, with just the right amount of crispy batter and fresh ebi. They also served kani salad, gyoza, beef sukiyaki with unlimited soup, gohan rice, tofu steak and 2 varieties of sushi. All of these our group kind of inhaled nonstop! Hahaha

The dining experience proved to be promising, and has its novelty. I do hope they renovate the place for added visibility in Tropical Ave, given it is now also booming as one of the food streets inside BF.

*The owners would like to note that they are in no way affiliated with the Bless Okiniiri in Aguirre Ave. It used to be under their brand but the new owner just did not drop the name, much to the chagrin of the previous owners. As of date, they are still petitioning to have the Okiniiri name dropped from that establishment.

*late review

Went here with my colleagues and tried their bento set (all seafood) and was so disappointed. The pancit was unheated, the shrimp tempura is more on breading than meat and the soup tasted different because the utensils were not washed thoroughly. However, their staff is really accommodating. Hoping for an improvement! :)

Next to Suzukin, this is my favorite!

My brother took us here for an authentic Japanese buffet experience. Although it looks old and poorly furnished, the restaurant feels like home to me, inviting my good chi to eat a hearty meal. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even offering freshly cooked dishes that were already on the buffet table (specifically the Beef Sukiyaki, Ebi Tempura and Beef Teriyaki/Gyudon)

For P450 pesos, you get to eat A LOT. I really really really loved the salmon soup. They also offer tempuras, cooked meat, noodles, sushi and salad. The dessert table is kid-friendly as there were chocolates and muffins aside from fruits.

The owner is very kind too, as she shares her storis about her restaurant, its succes, and other dining experiences.

She also told us that you can avail vouchers at Metrodeal for unli shabu shabu and yakiniku -- different from what we ordered.

Overall the experience is great! Please do visit! ✌🏻️😊

Okay, first of all I think this place has 2 branches. The one I tried is the one along Tropical Avenue. I have Metrodeal vouchers for this priced at P399 per person (instead of P850) for unli grill and shabu-shabu. I'm a fan of Korean barbeque places and I've been really trying out places like this, so I bought 2 vouchers of this place.

I think this place isn't well known because we were their only customers when we arrived. Then another group came in after us, who also had metrodeal vouchers.

The ambiance of the place is superb. Well, it's nothing too fancy but it's quite nice. There are places where you can sit on the floor like a typical Japanese restaurant. There are paintings of cherry blossoms on the wall.

Service is not that good. When we were seated, they started setting up our table. Then they started bringing in all the food and told us that we can already turn on the stove. Uhhh HOW??? (Since their stove is different from other places I've tried). Then that's it. We weren't even informed on what the sauces on the table are for, will we be the ones to put oil on the pans (since we didn't know if one "sauce" on the table is the oil), nothing. And one more thing, one of the servers was not in the mood to work.

The grill - all the meat to grill were delicious. There were 2 kinds of beef, one with the sweet marinade and the plain one, then the pork and chicken were also marinated in the sweet sauce. These are automatically served to you at the beginning. Everything is unlimited, including the rice and iced tea.

The shabu-shabu - a big NO! The soup was very very very very bland. We even asked the server if that was the soup or if they were going to bring in more (like the usual shabu-shabu places where they have different soups), but no. That's it. We told her that the soup is bland and her response to me was to just add the dipping sauce of the shabu-shabu to the soup itself 😑 the other table also complained about this, and we even heard them laughing about how the customers in the restaurant should be the one to season the soup 😓

To sum up, these are my viewpoints:
▪️ For the price of P399, this place is worth the try. I'll just leave it up to you guys if you want to try the shabu-shabu, but for me, it's really a waste of time.
▪️If you're looking for a place to have yakiniku, I think this will do, but only if the price is less than P500. So if you can get just the unli Yakiniku (not including the shabu-shabu) for that price, I think it's good enough.
▪️Considering to try this place for P850 is not a good idea.

I can say that this is the worst japanese resto! The service is not good it tooks so hard to order the crew's are bastos! Saying wait lang! In every order we make they are laughing and repeating what we are saying (at the kitchen) without even knowing that we can hear them. I will never ever come back to this kind of resto!

Service and food are both great. We love their bentos and okonomiyaki. Their ramens and udons are mediocre. They often have promos, like 20% off on all bento boxes. I honestly liked eating here but there are just better options for japanese cuisine that have sprouted nearby.

Reservation isn't reliable. I called a week before we dined (which was yesterday) and even followed up that we are coming in that night. All the staff were in shock when I told them that I did reserve for 7 pax, good thing there were no other diners yet. So basically they weren't prepared yet which was kinda annoying.

Food was great, we tried their unli Yakiniku (beef, pork, chicken,) iced tea, misu soup and rice. It's worth the pay but I wouldn't recommend expecting something with their customer service. The guy who was assisting us acted really sarcastic, I don't know if that really is his personality but I'm offended with the way he talks to us.

I'll probably try their branch in Aguirre and see if a better experience will be given.

Dining here is a total FAIL. Very poor service. I maked a reservations here for 20 pax and im very happy they gave me discount. The servers doesn't know what to do and i need to give them instructions what to serve for each table since we are a large group. I kept on wondering if it was their first time to accomodate a large group. their servers seems not happy and are very slow. This was the worst family dinner we've ever had. Im sorry to say this, but, we will never go back here again. Anyway, i appreciate the discount. It's a good thing though that we have discount cause if there is none, i think the regular price of 580 per head wasn't worth it.

I came here with colleagues after duty. We were riding the aguirre stretch looking for a place to eat at and one recommended this place. We came near closing time so i guess that's why the stock at the buffet table were not as many. But you really get to enjoy the 495php food. With the open buffet you get a serving a sashimi (your choice of tuna or salmon) and the soup (i forgot what it's called). Overall a good value for money buffet.

The first time we ate here was by accident, but every time after that was because we wanted delicious and affordable authentic Japanese food. It's set in a quaint house in BF (near Southville) which makes the experience remind you of home--they even have low tables for when you want to sit on the floor. There is a secluded area for smokers.
The food is absolutely delicious. One of the best Japanese restaurants in town! Their staff is accommodating and very sensitive to what their customers want and need. Their bento meals come with the ulam and rice, a drink, dessert, salad, and maki (it costs as much as Tokyo Tokyo's meals where you only get ulam, rice, and drinks).
I think it deserves more recognition than it receives. This is undeniably a very good Japanese restaurant :)

Saw this while browsing buffet places in LP... Good thing we tried this place... Affordable and the staff was friendly and accomodating... We tried the yakiniku and shabu buffet... Yakiniku was good and they even cooked for us... The shabu could be better though I am not really a fan of the shabu and enjoyed the yakiniku better... An old house converted to a restaurant with 4 "japanese-style" seating good for two...

The place was hard to find and the place was actually small. It was like the japanese house wherein the ground floor was a restaurant and the 2nd floor was where they sleep.
My family were a fan of japanese food so we decided to try Okiniiri. It is las piñas only so we thought it was ok to drive there. Arggghh... traffic... we arrived almost 1230 while our reservation was at 11am. Good thing they still have space for us. Well, we did reserved anyway.
A few tables and chairs and some were japanese style dining where you will seat on the floor and cook the food on your own. We decided not to have that because my mom and dad will have a hard time to stand up. Hehe... anyway, i was really happy with their service. It was actually superb. They were very attentive and never lets us call them but just ask and give us what we want. To think that such a small restaurant will have this kind of service, they must really be well trained or the manager is strict. Well, because of that good tip was given to them.

Food on the other hand were fine. I mean, rice is a combination rice and some of the first batch of meat is not that tender but at the latter part of the meal it became tender anyway. So great doing yakiniku and shabu shabu but I still prefer to do it at home. Their food was good but I still prefer my mom's japanese cooking and yakiniku style as well. She stayed in japan more than my age maybe that's why.

If i will go back? Maybe. If my dad will drive. But going there commuting. Maybe not. But i still love their service. Good job guys...
