Exactly what I'd expect from an older school luncheonette, quick service, cash only, great from scratch food.
The poached eggs on my Benedict were cooked perfectly, hash wasn't overly salty and had great flavor, hollondaise wasn't from a packet with a nice lemon kick, and the sautéed spinach was fresh.
It'll be a trek to come back out this way but well worth it.

We were looking for a place to grab breakfast while waiting to take the ferry to Fire Island. What a great find! Breakfast was very good and the service was outstanding.
