Great experience. The food was excellent. we all had different schnitzel. My favorite was the jäger schnitzel, but the peppercorn and the lemon carpet ones were delicious too. The cordon blue special is also one to try!! We had the cheese spätzle and the meatballs as appetizers. Both were good also. Lovely dinner experience. thank you.

Food was delicious. My husband had the duck which he enjoyed very much. I ordered the Jager Schnitzel, which was crispy and flavorful. The restaurant was small and very busy, so abit noisy. But, the food and staff make worthwhile. Definitely, leave room for dessert: apple strudel and cream brulee. Try the sampler!

I enjoy the majority of the restaurants in Palm Springs but have been looking forward to visiting Johannes for some time. I finally had some friends from out of town and we were able to get reservations. Johannes is by far a step above the other restaurants and worth every penny! The service is spot on. The server explained in detail a delightful variety of specials for the day along with information about any dish we asked about. She memorized everything we ordered and came back with everything perfect! The food was incredibly pleasing to the eye, stunningly full portions, that were equally incredibly delicious! We shared escargot for an appetizer and tiramisu for dessert. Both excellent! I will be frequenting Johannes much more often, even if it's just me eating at the bar. All the food is impeccable. There is an extensive schnitzel menu that has only compared to my favorite restaurants in Munich. You won't be disappointed with this place!!

Absolutely OUTSTANDING! Have been a fan of the restaurant for a couple years, and last night's b-day for my husband was PERFECTION! The cocktails, the service, the wine list were all wonderful. But the star of the night was the food! The Chilled Potato/Leek Soup was the BEST chilled soup I have ever tasted!! The Baby Bibb lettuce salad with candied pecans was awesome. Both of us has schnitzel because it is always delicious and the Chicken/Jaeger and Pork/Peppercorn was spectacular. Each bite we just looked at each other and and rolled our eyes! The best schnitzel I've ever had outside of Germany or Austria.... And Bary the waitress was as lovely, sweet and so knowledgable about the menu. Thank you all for a wonderful b-day dinner!

And don’t forget to indulge your sweet tooth with an apple strudel. Nice ambience and superb customer service! Parking can be a bit challenging depending on the day and time, plan accordingly.
