Burger-board

The Burger-Board is reason enough to visit Pacifica. The burgers are all surfing themed. They have a variety of burgers and you are sure to like one or more. They are half a pound of Harris Ranch beef. Gluten free? They will wrap the burgers in lettuce leaves. It's a slippery hot mess but delicious. You will have to hose down afterwards so you may want to take out and eat at your Airbnb. I had a the Wiped Out (as in surfing) burger which bacon, cheese and an egg on it for $16.99. Burgers come with fries. It would have been a huge meal for one but was plenty for two of us to to share.

Only reason is gets a 3 is due to the food. 5 stars for the people working there. The food is terrible. Burgers are gross and the tenders and fries taste like the oil hadn't been changed in a month. We threw out the tenders we brought home along with the fries. Can't be this bad with the brewery being next door and 100X better quality.

Wish I had some christian burger chain, not. This place reduced my love to a simple bad habit for a certain Santa Barbara chain too. 🔥, Fuego, fya. flame. ( New to area, tried twice before review ) some person leaving a bad review is crazy. This place is quality, and hazy IPAs are wayyyy over rated imo. Coming out of Santa Cruz, thinking I need to check out humble sea up here and see if it's somehow 100x better quality than burger board... If we're talking beer I'd put revision up against humble sea any day and the burger joint has a $5 happy pint through the week, FOH... P.s. asked for crispy 🍟 and I got em shout out to the staff*****

This was an awful experience. One burger and one chicken sandwich, fries, onion rings, and two drinks came to $57 with tip. We waited almost an hour for our food to show up. We didn’t get our onion rings. My chicken sandwich was so over cooked it was inedible. The bacon was so hard and balled up I couldn’t even chew it. The cow a bunga burger was basic and burned. We each had one bite and left hungry and out $57.

So I’m giving it 3 starts only because I can’t give it 3.5. It’s not a bad spot and the employees are super nice. It just doesn’t impress me very much. They definitely need new buns. The beef isn’t bad, but it taste like frozen patties. Not much flavor. Milk shakes were good though. And a good beer selection. You probably won’t get a better burger in that area, but you definitely can get a better burger

Brand new burger place in Pacifica! I have to admit I have been looking forward to the day the Burger-Board doors opened. Today, August 30th is the Day! One of the things I like best about a burger joint is a place that cooks their meat on FLAME. Burger-Board does does just that by making a chargrilled burger. So in I had to come to try it out. A menu item house branded Burger-Board from the top of the list with a couple of additions. I asked for carmelized onions, cheddar cheese, extra toasted bun, bacon, and a 1/2 pound patty cooked to a solid medium, and of course the works for the rest of the toppings. They got it mostly right but missed adding in the bacon, And the onions were only grilled, not carmelized. Still, I liked what came out. The meat was tasty, juicy, and cooked to a perfect medium. The veggies were fresh. Tomato and pickle flavors fit well the burger. Even with the amount of mayo and juices on the bun it survived until it met it's end in my belly. It was served along with a choice of sides. Today I chose the French Fries and the choice turned out to be the right one. Solid thick and long burger sized fries. Cooked to perfection. I could come here and order just the fries and a drink and be happy. Also had a Coke to go with the burger. It's a good Coke out of a fountain. Tastes just right. Served in a large branded cup. You're not walking away from here thirsty. On the whole I would say no single person will leave hungry. Two people could probably split a burger and still leave satisfied. Inside Burger-Board the theme is totally great beach shack appearance. Pacifica Pedro Point hand painted mural on one wall. Buger dude mural on the other wall. Surf, sand, sea life, and feet prints mural on the floor shows you the ways to the counter. Surfboards tables to enjoy your meal. A few TVs on the wall for sports and other things. Outside they made the right decision to keep the tables and chairs. Great to bring the family dogs and hang out with a Hill side Pedro Point Headlands view in the temperate Pacifica weather. One the points I look at in a place is the bathroom. Burger-Board carried on the surf side theme into the bathroom too. One of the cutest on the coastline. Obviously super clean sine this place is new. You can send your kids back without a worry. There is more stuff on the Burger-Board menu I will be back to try. Including Shakes, Floats, hot dogs, and beer. Looking forward to the next visit.
