Vallemar Station

Rating 3.5 stars The food is good. You need to know that you will have a good meal. Especially if you happen to be waiting in that long line for Gorilla bbq. :) I've included pictures here. We ordered prime rib (medium), shrimp scampi with pesto linguine, clam chowder, and ravioli (child portion). The brownie with vanilla ice cream was super good. The food is solid and the food reminds me of Original Joe's. You know what you're going to get here. The atmosphere is old school but that's not bad. Take a look at the pictures on the walls and the awesome dioramas of Pacifica when trains ran through town. Let me know what you think.

Simple down home surf n turf dining. Seafood is outstanding, and Steaks are mouthwatering. My wife and I make it a point to stop in Picifica and Vallemar Station everytime we fly into SFO. Every meal has consistantly been delightful. My particular favourites are the Crab sandwich for lunch, and the Calamari Dore' for dinner. Take the time to visit Vallemar Station. You will not be disappointed!

Price does not match the quality and service. It looked like the waitress doesn’t want to work here. Basa tasted really good, but salmon was not good and too small for 20$. We got the smallest serving of bread I’ve ever seen. Interior is old school but looks nice. I would not come back and wouldn’t recommend. A tall guy with dark short hair should get a raise, he is the only person who was genuinely friendly and did a great job.

After hearing nothing but raves about this place, I finally tried it and was highly disappointed. I ordered Cannelloni and it was horrible. My husband ordered steak and prawns which he did enjoy. We went on a wednesday evening. My husband and I h.g.h ar CV the entire restaurant to ourselves. There wasn't another living soul in the place beside us and the staff the entire time. Service was good. Menu a bit pricey. I may try it again if someone else is paying.

They served my mom obviously spoiled fish. It was deep fried and I could still smell ammonia from spoilage. When I reported it, they did not seem surprised and did not apologize. The place is dirty and stinks of decades of stale smoke. DO NOT EAT HERE. They also have multiple signs on EVERY WALL of the place that admonish customers for using credit cards. Clearly they have disdain for their customers to the point of serving unhealthy food. There is no excuse for this from a restaurant.
