Applebee's

Inept hostess, almost incomprehensible through her sad little face mask. She wouldn't seat us even though there were many free tables available. Told us we weren't even allowed to sit at the bar or even order a beer because "the kitchen was backed up." Maybe the restaurant shouldn't allow obnoxious parties of 16 people sitting together under one bill if the kitchen can't keep up with that demand and then has to punish any small party who is unfortunate enough to come on later. We ignored our orders and went to the bar anyway and at least got a drink. Also made friends in the waiting area with other weary people who were also stuck in dinner "time out" and happlily roasted the staff of the restaurant. Waited half an hour to be seated and another half an hour before a waiter came by and acknowledged us. Food was ok but by that time, we didn't really care.

Food was decent. Burgers came out how we requested, a little pink. Boneless wing appetizer was hot, fresh and not overcooked. Fries were hot and crispy. Nobody likes cold, old fries. Server was very nice and attentive. Very much appreciated. Kitchen seemed a little slow but, it could have been we were seated at a beginning of a rush. This trip was better than our previous trips. The manager, I presume, was walking around talking to most of the guests, which was nice to see.

Got a to-go order. Two people, the almost $6 Caesar salad was a small amount of lettuce, 4 croutons and a small amount of salad dressing, a side salad at best. The Mac and cheese had literally no cheese sauce. I wouldn't have paid $20 for the whole meal that was over $50 with tip. Don't go to applebees.

Walked in didn't have a mask on me so they told me to get it. As we where eating i looked in the kitchen area and all there cooks and helpers in there was not wearing a mask. I bet they are spreading the virus. Picture didn't come out clear. Manager can't say they didn't know about no m ask cause I saw them go to the kitchen area. I thought that they where suppose to keep it 10 people or less . They had a party of near me

The taste was amazing. The drinks are good. Staff just as friendly as any other Applebees I've been to. Didn't wait long for food, and the 2 for $20 is worth it. Laid back vibe on a Tuesday night, plenty of wonderful 90s songs playing too! Prime dinner time at 6:00pm, and plenty of seating and staff was hustling about. :)
